Great stay under renovation!
Even though the hotel was under renovation it was still quiet. The actual renovation on our floor was completed and it was very nice!
My favorite Hyatt Place got a facelift - well done!
I have stayed at this Hyatt Place several times over the past year. The remodeled rooms are SPECTACULAR. The biggest improvement is the bathroom lighting, shower and decor. The LED mirror provides wonderful lighting, and the decor is modern/minimalistic. The shower is soooo much better. It is huge, and I greatly appreciate a sliding shower DOOR instead of a curtain. The water pressure is great. The room decor, while still in progress, is modern and simplistic. I love the black-and-white decor and the sink added near the refrigerator. The rooms feel clean and bright, and the charging outlets with USB-C ports are so much better than dealing with multiple charger heads. The closet area, with one drawer and a small cubby, was enough to store my hanging and folded clothes for a five-night trip. A dresser wasn't needed, and I appreciate the minimal vibe. Well done! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient for shopping, restaurants and highway access.
under renovation
the hotel is currently under renovation. The halls are pretty dark, it’s hard to tell where your room is because there’s no directions on the floor as to which rooms are located going what way. My room is very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to the ongoing renovations, particularly with the dimly lit hallways and lack of clear directions. We are glad to hear that despite these issues, your room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We appreciate your valuable input as we strive to improve our guest experience.
Savannah
Hotel under construction. Consider your options. Room lacked hangers and coffee maker. Difficult to get a receipt even though I paid direct to hotel. Pet friendly hotel. I'm an animal lover but didn't appreciate being startled/ yapped at by an unfriendly dog at 8am.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay, especially with the ongoing construction, the missing amenities in your room, and the difficulty in obtaining a receipt. We also regret that our pet-friendly policy negatively impacted your experience. We will address these issues with our team to ensure a more comfortable and organized experience for our guests in the future.
Room, staff are an A+ Breakfast Buffet a sad “C”
The rooms were wonderful. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet, however, was sadly lacking. It was more akin to an inferior hotel rather than a Hilton property.

Thank you for your feedback! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed our rooms and found our staff accommodating. However, it seems there might be a misunderstanding. We are a Hyatt property, not a Hilton. We appreciate your comments on the breakfast buffet and will take them into consideration as we continuously strive to improve our guest experience.
Super stay, super convenient.
Lovely hotel in super easy access location, with the bonus of the wonderful Sam Snead Tavern next door. The staf here are excellent and helpful and friendly.

Overall Experience: Very Dissatisfied
**Overall Experience: Very Dissatisfied** My family and I had a deeply frustrating experience during our stay on July 25-26, 2026, which has convinced us not to return to any Hyatt property. We arrived after a 10+ hour drive from NJ, en route to Disney World, only to find our reservation had been booked for the wrong night (Friday-Saturday instead of the intended Saturday-Sunday). This was clearly a booking system error, as we hadn't even left home Friday. Rather than working with us, the check-in manager was dismissive and told us we'd have to pay for an additional night at the higher Saturday rate, with no credit or refund for the error. Exhausted from the drive, we had no real choice but to pay. Throughout the conversation, she seemed more interested in the music on her phone than in resolving our issue. The next morning, I spoke with the manager on duty, who claimed the hotel was "booked solid" Friday night and that's why no refund was possible. This didn't add up — we'd just walked in and secured a room on what was supposedly an even busier Saturday night, and the hotel's website noted the pool and restaurant were closed for renovations, which should have meant lower-than-usual occupancy. He offered no real solution either. This was our first Hyatt stay, and the combination of a booking error, financial penalty for what was not our mistake, and two dismissive managers left a lasting negative impression. We felt like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. I would not recommend this property, and we won't be booking with Hyatt again.
Heather Claffey, Owner at Hyatt Place Savannah Airport, responded to this review
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the deeply frustrating experience you and your family had during your recent stay. This is certainly not the impression we want to leave on our guests, especially those visiting a Hyatt property for the first time. We understand your disappointment regarding the booking error and the subsequent issues with securing a room and resolving the situation. We regret that our staff did not handle your concerns with the empathy and efficiency you deserved, and that you felt dismissed rather than valued. This does not reflect the high standards of guest service we aim to uphold. We are truly sorry that this experience has led you to decide against returning to Hyatt properties. Your comments about the booking system, the handling of your reservation discrepancy, and the unresponsiveness of the managers on duty have been noted. We take all feedback seriously as it helps us identify areas for improvement in both our systems and our guest services.
New rooms!
Rooms were pathetically pleasing and spacious . Modern looking bathroom with a sliding barn door. Parking was plentiful

Convenient & Adequate for Short Stays
This was a very convenient location off I95, which was right on my travel route. Check-in was easy, and it was pet-friendly. The room has everything, breakfast included. However, the hotel was still undergoing renovation. Will be even better when complete. Would stay here again!

Great airport location option
The Savannah location is easy to get to from I-95 and it is near the outlet mall. Sam Snead's grill is right next door with is a plus!. Also the breakfast is substantial considering other hotel choice options. A variety of fruits, pastries, hot and food options, cereal, yogurt, etc.

Modern rooms with amazing lighting and perfect decor.
The remodel is INCREDIBLE! I have stayed at this property every visit for over a year, with stays as long as several weeks at a time. The new rooms are so bright and airy! The minimalist decor is EVERYTHING. The bathroom is a night and day difference. Amazing. Friendly staff who go above and beyond to welcome and remember me. Every time. It feels like home. ❤️

Excellent place to stay.
WE have stayed here a number of times. The staff is very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast is good. The hotel is being renovated and the room renovations are excellent. We stayed in one of the rooms that was almost completely renovated and it was spacious and well laid out. Comfortable bed, room and bath were very clean. Sam Snead's is literally right next to the hotel which is great after riding in a car all day- good food and varied menu right next door.
Heather Claffey, Owner at Hyatt Place Savannah Airport, responded to this review
It sounds like you had a very pleasant stay! It's great to hear that the staff was gracious and welcoming, and that you enjoyed the breakfast. The renovations sound like a significant improvement, and it's always a plus to have a comfortable, clean, and well-laid-out room. Having Sam Snead's right next door for a convenient meal after traveling is definitely a bonus. Thank you for sharing your positive experience!
Under renovation to lower its overhead cost vs traveler friendly
Under renovation, putting less furniture and amenities in the rooms, no hot water in shower, no cup/glasses in room, paint smell, Worst than a $50 a night motor lodge.
Heather Claffey, Owner at Hyatt Place Savannah Airport, responded to this review
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay, including the ongoing renovations, reduced amenities, lack of hot water, missing cups/glasses, and the paint smell. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services and ensure a more comfortable stay for our guests in the future.
Wouldn't stay here again!
We recently stayed at Hyatt Place Savannah because of its convenient proximity to the highway. After driving for 12 hours that day, we were simply looking for a place to get a good night’s sleep before continuing our journey the next morning. As a World of Hyatt member, we’ve stayed at many Hyatt hotels over the years and have always had great experiences, but unfortunately this stay was very disappointing. The staff was friendly throughout our stay, but the hotel itself fell short in several areas. The breakfast food was awful — overcooked, dry, cold, and tasteless, except for the sausage, which had a very strange and unfamiliar flavor. After trying multiple food items, I ultimately settled for a banana and toast. Our room also did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, as the furniture and lampshades were noticeably dusty. The biggest issue, however, was the noise. Children were running back and forth in the room above us late into the night, and it honestly sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in. We contacted the front desk, and the agent said she would speak with the guests, but the running continued for another half hour before finally stopping, only to start again around 7 a.m. In addition, someone in the upper room or a maybe nearby room flushed their toilet, and there was a loud knocking sound in our wall that sounded as though it was coming from inside our own bathroom plumbing. We arrived at the hotel around 10 p.m. completely exhausted from a long day of travel. Under different circumstances, we likely would have requested a room change, but by then we had already unpacked, stocked the refrigerator with our cold food and drinks, and settled into bed. When we spoke with the manager the next morning, we only mentioned the noise issue, and he seemed to treat the situation as something the hotel could not really control. and was somewhat dismissive. He did provide us with 3,500 World of Hyatt points as compensation, which was appreciated, but the room cost was over 12,000 points. In hindsight, we should have shared all of our concerns, and perhaps the situation would have been handled with more understanding and professionalism, and better compensation. Overall, the stay was far less restful and comfortable than expected, and we will not be returning.

Thank you for providing such a detailed account of your recent stay at Hyatt Place Savannah. I'm truly sorry to hear that your experience was so disappointing, especially after a long day of travel and given your positive history with World of Hyatt. It sounds like several aspects of your stay fell short of expectations, from the quality of the breakfast and the cleanliness of your room to the significant disturbance from noise. I understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with prolonged noise issues, particularly after you had already settled in for the night. It's also concerning that your interaction with the manager regarding the noise left you feeling dismissed. While the 3,500 World of Hyatt points are a gesture, I can see why you feel it doesn't fully compensate for the disruptions and discomfort you experienced, especially compared to the cost of the room in points. Your feedback regarding the breakfast, room cleanliness, noise management, and the way your concerns were addressed by the manager is incredibly valuable. This kind of direct and honest feedback helps hotels identify areas for improvement and ensures that future guests have a more positive experience. I appreciate you taking the time to share these details.
Would recommend, would return to again.
Very well organized. Great lobby, nice meeting area up front, breakfast spot in the back, snacks available at the front desk, certainly more offerings than I expected to find. A sign said to pardon the construction but I barely knew any was going on. The floorplan of the room was neat, I didn't expect a livingroom and office area with the room. Tom was very helpful.

Found a wig in our room
Found a wig in our room from a previous guest. My husband took it up to the front desk where they apologized and offered to credit us 1,000 Hyatt points for the issue along with a couple of bottled drinks. Good customer service, but housekeeping in this example was lacking. The breakfast staff was kind, but they ran out of some items because the truck hadn’t arrived yet with their supplies. A washer and dryer for self serve laundry would have been helpful. Overall a good stay for what it was.
Heather Claffey, Owner at Hyatt Place Savannah Airport, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to hear that the front desk staff addressed the issue with the wig promptly and offered compensation. I will pass along your comments regarding housekeeping and the breakfast supply issue. I understand your suggestion regarding self-serve laundry and will share that with the appropriate team as well. We appreciate your overall positive assessment of your stay.
