Hyatt Place Sacramento International Airport

Hotel Policies

Pet Policy

Hyatt Place Sacramento International Airport does not allow pets. Guests who violate this policy are subject to a fee of no less than $75.

Statement Regarding Service Animals:

Following guidance provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, emotional support animals are not service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. As such, emotional support animals will be considered regular pets and are subject to the hotel’s no-pet policy.

At any time should an animal be determined to be out of control or causes damage to hotel premises, the hotel will ask the guest to remove the animal from the premises and the guest will be subject to a room-recovery fee and responsible for the repair of any damages.

Service animals are not subject to a fee for cleaning hair or dander. However, if a service animal causes damage to a room, the hotel will charge the same fee for damages as charged to other guests.

Check-In Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to check in to your room. A photo ID matching the registered guest name is required upon arrival. Unless prior arrangements have been made, a credit card in the guest’s name must be presented at check-in.

Check-Out Policy

Check out is 12:00 PM. Late check outs are available based upon availability; please contact the Front Desk the day prior to your departure. Rooms not checked out at 12:00 PM are subject to additional fees and taxes.

Cleaning Fees

Guests who leave their room in an excessively dirty state that requires cleaning above and beyond normal procedures are subject to a cleaning fee of no less than $150 and no more than $250. While not an all-inclusive list, we may define an excessively dirty room as having:

  • Evidence of a party, i.e., excessive amounts of bottles and cups, outside food cartons, etc.
  • Food stains on carpet, flooring or furniture
  • Confetti, glitter, excessive dirt or mud on flooring or furniture
  • Bodily fluids not reported to housekeeping prior to departure
  • Large amounts of trash, food waste or discarded items left around the room
  • Situations where damage is also present will be subject to damage charges in addition to cleaning fees.

Damage Fees

All guests or visitors on the hotel premises are responsible for their own behavior at all times. Any guest or visitor who causes damage to equipment, grounds or buildings will be responsible for repairs and loss of use. Repairs and replacements will be charged at their actual value, plus 15%.

Disruptions

Our hotel has a quiet-hours policy in effect from 10 p.m.–7 a.m. During this time, excessive noise is not permitted. This includes but is not limited to loud music or entertainment, shouting, running, propping open of room doors, or any other activity that may be disruptive to otherguests. Guests and visitors found to be causing a disruption will be given one courtesy warning. Should the disruption continue, guests and visitors may be subject to eviction.

Firearm Policy

Hyatt recognizes that guests or visitors may legally possess firearms for a variety of legitimate purposes. This policy is intended to create a safe environment for all guests and visitors by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms on our premises. Hotel premises are private property. Guests or visitors of a Hyatt hotel who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm may bring such firearm onto hotel premises for storage purposes only. Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located and for ensuring that the firearm is:

  • Unloaded
  • Secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container provided by the guest
  • Securely safeguarded at all times in a hotel security department (or personal vehicle), except when transporting the firearm in or out of the hotel
  • Firearms are not permitted in guest rooms for any reason, including storage.

Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises. A blanket exception to the restrictions described in this policy statement applies only to law enforcement officers and designated military personnel who are on duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. No exemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, eventhose licensed and permitted to carry a firearm, and/or where applicable, to conceal and carry a firearm.
