  • Good location, nice room but property needs work and maintenance

Place needs more remodeling and maintenance. Our a/c was soaking the carpet by the bed. We changed rooms. The new room, the deadbolt wouldn't close, out of alignment. We used the safety bar. Staff was nice and tried, but the property isn't in good condition. The rooms are nice and good size. A relative had a room on another floor and they didn't have any issues.

  • Ants in the room

Good parking . Check in area clean. There was ants in the bed and on the wall. The carpet was dark so we couldn’t see all the ants, but it was about 100 ants on the wall. The bathroom super small. The shower tiles had A large gap. Maybe that’s were the ants are coming from.

  • Hotel in need of serious TLC.. buyer beware

Ants were everywhere! The hotel desperately needs some tlc. There was bathroom grout falling, broken outlets and more. Pool isn’t nice and lights are broken

  • Do not stay here with your pet

Guest was walking around with two dogs unleashed. My dog was attacked by the bigger one. Host at front counter said it was fine since the other guest picked her dog up. Waver states that all guests must leash their animal. I now have a claim against this hotel. Please consider staying elsewhere when booking since although they make you sign a waver, and pay an $100 pet fee.. they do not hold guests to this.

I am so sorry your dog was attacked by another guest's dog. We have policies in place for incidents such as this, and I am sorry we did not uphold our end of the bargain during your stay. I have reviewed this policy with the staff to ensure the leash policy is enforced at all times for the safety and protection of all guests and their pets.

  • Amazing staff members

Dederia and Demetria were amazing staff members. They solved all of our problems connected to the room and I recommend this Hyatt place in Sosi.

  • Hotel Review

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. My room was located next to an AC unit that was incredibly loud, turning on every ten minutes throughout the night. This disruptive noise made it difficult for me to get any restful sleep, and I truly believe that I should have been made aware of this issue prior to my stay. Furthermore, the bed in my room was quite hard and uncomfortable, which added to my dissatisfaction. A good night's sleep is essential for any traveler, and unfortunately, I did not receive that during my visit. I hope that the hotel can improve its room assignments and bedding comfort for future guests.

Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry for the HVAC issues you experienced during your stay. With the weather we have had, the systems are definitely working overtime to ensure the building's common areas remain comfortable but we will certainly have the unit checked to ensure. We certainly hoped you would have a much more restful and relaxing stay with us, and hope that you will return in the future so we can make it right.

  • Low Class To Charge People To Park.

I liked almost everything about the hotel. The lady who checked me in was very nice. I love that they still have free breakfast because most Hyatt Place's do not anymore. The only thing I didn't like was that you guys charged me to park my car in the parking lot?!?! Very low class.

Thank you for staying with us. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay, and apologize for the inconvenience created by the parking charge. While we are in a suburban area, other hotels nearby and directly adjacent to us also charge for parking. The fees charged here assist with covering the landscaping, lighting, security, and needed parking lot updates when necessary. We do hope that you will choose to return to stay with us in the future.

  • Older hotel in need of better cleaning. Additional future stays questionable.

Tv positioned in front of sofa bed, not main bed due to room design. Was able to link laptop to tv via general settings and input. Fresh towels provided with tea/coffee. Fridge worked normally. Breakfast was decent with ample seating. The bad... The main sliding shower door was broken upon arrival and had to get staff to move it so we aren't blamed for any mishaps. Their solution was positioning the main door away and using the secondary door to slide which didn't have a proper handle. The bathroom door could not be locked due to door lock misalignment. Bathrooms were pretty subpar and dirty upon closer inspection. Old towels were left behind on back of bathroom door. Thorough bathroom cleanliness was not done.

  • A great place to stay.......

I was very skeptical of this hotel because of some negative reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean, nice and neat and quiet up on the 5th floor and throughout. The hostess both checking in and out was very sweet. Other workers we passed in the hall or wherever always greeted us with a "hello". The breakfast was not worth the $13.99 per person but we were able to get it 1/2 price by booking online in advance. It still was not great but was okay and saved us time stopping elsewhere. This hotel is conveniently located off the interstate and there are quite a few fast food places a few blocks down from the hotel. 2 gas stations nearby which also helped.
