Best Quality Hotel
This is a really excellent hotel at a very reasonable price. It was clean with a spacious room, low entry shower quiet A/C and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast options; definitely the best quality hotel on our trip.

Good ADA Accommodations and good night's sleep
Stayed one night, our last on a 10 day trip, and found it to be our favorite hotel of the entire trip. Room was clean and quite, beds were comfortable. The most impressive thing was how the employee checking us in helped with a close parking pass for my ADA needing family member. It was both very helpful and kind. Bathroom had good ADA bars, but no raised seat in the tub.

Great modern clean family hotel with amenities.
Lovely modern clean full service hotel with an outdoor pool and nice fitness center. Perfect location of a stop on our family vacation to Utah.

Very Disappointed for a Hyatt
A big disappointment for a Hyatt hotel. I would grade it as follows: Location - C Cleanliness Hotel -C Room - F Breakfast - C Hotel is in need of an update and a good cleaning. Carpets dirty. Bathroom dirty. Room has no USB ports. Beds have extra firm mattresses. Unless you are a devoted Hyatt Loyalty member I advise you to find another place to stay. I will not stay here again.

Excellent location and service
Hyatt Place Provo manages to deliver something surprisingly rare in modern hotel stays: competence that feels genuinely human. Not flashy luxury, not boutique theatrics -- just a well-run hotel staffed by people who seem to understand that hospitality is supposed to reduce friction, not create it. The location alone is worth the booking. I spent much of my stay wandering Center Street on foot and found more than I expected within a few blocks: restaurants spanning every variety and budget, the stunning Provo City Center Temple with its beautifully maintained grounds, a French bakery, a specialty chocolatier, karaoke, comedy, gem classes. Even at night the area felt comfortable and safe to walk alone, and public transit access is conveniently close for those who want it. The hotel itself is modern without feeling cold. The lobby features semi-private lounge cubbies with built-in TVs -- a small detail that elevates the space from standard chain lobby to somewhere you might actually choose to sit. The seating looks more comfortable than it sustains over long stretches, but the atmosphere is bright, inviting, and functional. Breakfast mornings in particular are genuinely pleasant -- sunny, open, the kind of cheerful that improves your day before it starts. Breakfast was fairly standard continental. The yogurt station with fresh berries, almonds, and granola was legitimately good. One son demolished the French toast sticks; the other engineered a surprisingly respectable breakfast sandwich from bagels and eggs. Rooms were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully designed. The desk setup and magnetic note bar were small touches that signaled someone had actually thought about how people use these spaces. Beds leaned firm, but the pillow-top finish elevated the feel considerably above what mid-range hotels typically manage. The showers had excellent water pressure and reliable heat through three consecutive showers, including one family member who appears to believe showering is a form of contemplative retreat. Housekeeping deserves its own mention. Daily service was thorough and consistent -- the kind that restores a room to genuinely fresh rather than merely tidied. After a week-long stay with two teenagers, that is not a small thing. Service was the standout. When my first room had a noisy air conditioner, staff moved me without hesitation or defensiveness -- no friction, no performance, just help. Follow-up texts during the stay added a layer of care that felt personal rather than procedural. There was always someone available, and that someone always seemed glad to be there. A few minor notes: the pool-area bathroom needed more frequent attention during my stay, and views from both rooms I occupied were unremarkable -- this is not the hotel for scenic vistas (or request a high floor). But for cleanliness, walkability, comfort, and especially service, Hyatt Place Provo succeeds where similarly priced hotels merely function. It doesn't overwhelm you. It just consistently makes everything a little easier -- and after enough travel, you learn that's rarer than it sounds.

Soccer stay
We stayed here for a national soccer tournament because it was included as one of the stay to play hotels. As a team that travels almost weekly to hotels this stay was not great. They were less then welcoming to children and families. We were not aloud to hangout in the lobby, not aloud to bring outside food even though the restraunt was not open.

Good place to stay
Overall a good place to stay. Pretty clean and staff was helpful with an issue in our room. Very close to the convention center, which is what we needed.

Good stay
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was good. The pool was small, as we were there with a large team, but it was heated at least. We would stay again.

Great one night stay!!
Super friendly staff with a clean and comfortable room. We were only there for a night. We also appreciated the chargers in the parking garage for our Tesla.

Poor communication between staff
Overcharged, and treated poorly but staff for their own errors repeatedly. Do not stay here. Stay across the street at the Marriott, you will save money and time.

Dear Ms. Trujillo, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify what occurred before and during your visit. Your reservation was originally booked in September 2025 as an advance purchase, non refundable, non changeable three night stay. When the reservation reached our system, we attempted to process payment, but the card on file declined. We reached out several times for an updated form of payment but did not receive a response. Although our procedure would normally require canceling the reservation when payment cannot be secured, we did not complete that final step, and I apologize for that oversight. On April 20, 2026, you contacted Hyatt Reservations to request a change to your arrival date. Although the reservation you chose to book does not allow changes, we approved a one time exception. Central Reservations also advised that the nightly rate could change due to the new dates. When the updated reservation arrived in our system, the original first night was not removed, resulting in an incorrect no show charge. This was identified and fully refunded when you arrived on April 23. At check in, we were unable to obtain authorization on the credit card provided for the full three night stay and incidental hold. We were able to authorize two nights and a reduced incidental amount, and we allowed you to check in with the understanding that you would return with a credit card that could authorize the final night. After two days without updated payment, I called you to explain that we would need payment for the night of April 25. You agreed to take care of it when you returned to the hotel. On Saturday morning I followed up to see if a credit card had been received for the final night, Saturday April 25. Our team informed me that you had chosen not to stay the third night, and that you would be checking out by noon on April 25. Because the hotel was sold out and the suite you occupied was needed for an arriving guest, we required the room to be vacated by noon. I apologize if our reminders felt abrupt, but they were necessary to prepare the room for the next guest. Your final bill reflected only the two nights you stayed and two nights of parking, totaling $739.28. I am sorry that your experience left you feeling dissatisfied, and I acknowledge that some of our communication could have been clearer. Your feedback will be shared with our team so we can continue improving our processes. If you would like to discuss any part of your stay further, I would be glad to speak with you directly.
My favorite Provo hotel
Excellent experience with check in and stay. Rooms are large, modern and comfortable. Daily maid service and fast WiFi with easy login. Convenient access to BYU campus, only a 5 minute drive - previous hotels near the freeway took far longer to get to. Will stay here every time I'm in Provo.

WORST HOTEL STAY EVER - and staff don't care.
Terrible cleanliness, handle on mini fridge broken and handing for all 3 days. housekeeping staff left the toilet paper empty and did not refill - forced to use the Kleenex instead. room service plates and bowls not cleared from room for over 36 hours. Very unacceptable for a hotel with this brand name.

Hyatt Provo with the Best Breakfast
Hyatt Place Provo is great with a nice sized hotel room that includes a couch and a desk with chair besides the normal amenities. The optional hot breakfast was delicious, had lots of choices, and did not cost extra as a World of Hyatt member.

A great hotel in the heart of Provo
A great hotel right in the heart of Provo. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, making check-in and our overall stay smooth and enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean—everything felt well-maintained and relaxing. The location is a big highlight, with easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the center of Provo. Definitely a convenient and comfortable place to stay!

Best choice in provo, Utah.
Amazing hotel, very convenient, staff highly skilled to meet and exceed my expectations. The location is excellent, breakfast is wonderful, rooms are clean and very comfortalbe. Another important point: Wi-Fi satble, fast and reliable.

Professionalism of the staff is excellent! They respected my request to be away from any pet occupied rooms, and GM Joel called me personally days before my reservation to discuss this with me! Wow!

Great experience
Great service, very friendly staff and easy going. Close to shops. Didn't use breakfast although included - but did pickup coffee. Room was reasonable size and clean and comfortable. Recommended for a business stay.

Charges extra where other hotels it's included
be prepared to pay $75.00 for a pet fee & then they only have some rocks to do their job on. On top of that, there is an $8.00 per person charge for breakfast
