  • The traffic noise basically cancelled out the otherwise good experience.

Hotel was clean. Staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast was good. The traffic noise from I-17 is horrendous. I got 3 hours of sleep.

  • Avoid this filthy, cockroach infested location!!

Entire hotel and room was filthy! Cockroach in room and managment indicated this is “expected” due to current rainfall… only offered Hyatt points. Checked out immediately and moved to downtown Phoenix location which was perfect, professional and clean (what we all expect from the Hyatt brand)

  • In need of a serious update

Employees were very friendly, but rooms and elevators are overdue on some updating. Room didn't feel clean and comfortable like most other Hyatt properties I've stayed at.

  • Not this Hyatt

Where to begin...dirty, bad smelling rooms, scolding hot shower - no other setting but this, and odors omitted from the air conditioning unit near the floor (old school). The room was large and near good restaurants, but this is not an area that I'd bring family or travel alone. The Quick Trip convienence store ( huge) down the street features an armed guard with body armor. Yikes

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the cleanliness concerns, unpleasant odors, and issues with the shower during your stay. This is not the level of comfort or quality we aim to provide, and your feedback has been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate attention. We’re glad you found the room spacious and the location convenient to restaurants, but we regret that the surrounding area left you feeling uneasy. Guest comfort and peace of mind are very important to us, and we’ll continue working on ways to improve both our property and guest experience. We appreciate your candid comments and hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future to provide a much more positive stay.

  • Stay away until it is fixed.

Do not go here while the hotel is under renovation. They should tell you it’s being worked on before you book here. The condition of the bathroom is embarrassing.

Dear Rick, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay was negatively impacted by our renovation work and the condition of your bathroom. We understand how frustrating it must have been not to be aware of the updates prior to your arrival, and we regret that this was not communicated more clearly. Please know that our renovation is aimed at making meaningful improvements to the property, but we recognize that it should never come at the expense of guest comfort. Your comments have been shared with our team so we can ensure both communication and upkeep are handled more effectively during this process. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future once the renovations are complete. • Pleasantly surprised first timers

Great location that is freeway close and in a safe business area. The location is under remodel but we did not have any disturbances along with it. AC worked great to overcome the AZ Summer heat. Breakfast had a good tasty selection with some standard hotel basics. Would definitely keep it on our future Hotel List.

Dear Rubenambriz Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed our convenient location, comfortable amenities, and breakfast selection. It’s also great to know that the remodeling did not disturb your stay and that the AC kept you cool during the Arizona heat. • Pick another spot

The beds aren’t bad. The front desk people, who are pretty much all younger for staff, were all great. I’m not a “bad review guy” but this place needs some work. The lobby is great. Our room, not so much. Carpets were stained and gross, looked like blood spatter or wiped blood on the curtains, and the lights in the living area above the couch would not turn off no matter what. Brought it up to maintenance and they came up while we were out and said nothing could be done, so those lights were on 24 hours a day the entire time we were there. No switch would shut them off and they didn’t have individual switches on the lights themselves. They’re probably still on! Breakfast was good…waffle day (one day of 5) was the best, French toast day (one of 5) was good and the pancakes (3 of 5 days) get crusty and hard to eat REAL fast.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. While we’re glad you enjoyed the service from our front desk team, the lobby, and parts of breakfast, we’re very sorry to hear about the condition of your room and the lighting issue. That certainly isn’t the experience we want for our guests. We will be reviewing the carpet and curtain concerns with our housekeeping and maintenance teams right away, and we’ll also be addressing the lighting issue to ensure it’s properly resolved. Your comments about breakfast variety and quality are also helpful, and we’ll share them with our kitchen team to see where improvements can be made. We truly appreciate your honesty and hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide you with a more comfortable stay.

  • Stay Away

This hotel was nothing like the online description. The bathroom was dirty, the linen and towels were dingy, the water was turned off twice during my stay for 3 hours each time, there was a large roach in my 1st room, the phones didn't work, half of the lights didn't work and breakfast was sub-par. Needless to say I was disgusted.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay — from the cleanliness and maintenance concerns to the interruptions with water service. This is far from the standard we aim to provide, and we regret that we did not meet your expectations. Your feedback has been shared with our housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams so we can address these concerns promptly. We value your honesty and hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide the comfortable, reliable stay you should expect from us.

  • Not the best!

This hotel is under construction. Hopefully after the renovations it will be more representative of a Hyatt hotel. Water was shut off for a few hours each day. The furniture is very outdated as is the carpet. The breakfast was good as well as the service.

  • Quick OK stay

The hotel was being renovated so I didn't expect too much. Hardly any extra outlets to charge devices and all were being used by the bed. Had to unplug the light to charge my phone. Breakfest was ok. Out of a lot of items and took a while to restock. Saturday had gravy but no biscuits. Sunday they had waffles but no syrup.
