Fantastic Experience!
Beautiful new and clean hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of everything. Shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water. The balcony was spacious and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable. The tv allows you to cast from your personal device which is a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Good Stay
Great location; clean, quiet, comfortable stay! I would stay again! I do wish they had coffee flavored creamer. Breakfast was just ok, but good variety of items offered.

Great place for a business meeting.
I recently hosted an Area Team Meeting and reserved 18 guest rooms along with the hotel meeting space. From the initial booking process with Libby to Leah, who served as our primary on-site contact, the customer experience was exceptional from start to finish. Leah went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled flawlessly. From coordinating the food preparation to overseeing the meeting room setup and preparations, she delivered outstanding service and professionalism. She truly made our event a success. I would also like to recognize Mike at the front desk and in the bar area for consistently making sure our team had everything we needed throughout our stay. Additionally, Veeta, Tatiania and Deshanta provided excellent service in the bar/kitchen area. Their hospitality, attentiveness, and positive attitudes made our team feel welcomed and appreciated. I originally thought I had booked my event at the Hyatt House, but I am so glad that I ended up at Hyatt Place. The entire staff exceeded my expectations and created an amazing experience for my team. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making our meeting such a success. I will definitely be returning to Hyatt Place for future events and look forward to another outstanding experience.

Heavy weed usage at this hotel - room, hallway, and balcony stunk like weed the entire time.
Terrible experience. I was subjected to heavy marijuana usage the entire stay and became very sick. I reported to the local hotel management and corporate that someone was smoking weed constantly and the smoke/smell was coming into my room from the balcony and the hallway door. The hallway stunk like weed. My room stunk like weed when I entered. Also, the mini fridge had a constant burning smell to it and did not work. Not really my concern. I was down the whole time sick from the weed. The hotel did not take action or care.

Breathtaking Oceanfront View...
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was really nice. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was pretty good. Our room was on the 8th Floor with an Oceanview and it was absolutely beautiful. It was $222 per night, which isn't bad for a view like that. Our room was right by the elevators, and we didn't hear any noise. The hotel, just like many others in the area are "Pet Friendly." I love animals, but I just don't think they belong in a hotel. The people ratio to pet ratio was about 50/50, just too many dogs. Housekeeping services could've been better as well. With all that said, I would consider staying here again when visiting Virginia Beach.

Perfect beach getaway
Perfect location on the beach. Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and a great balcony. Comfortable beds and bedding. Bathroom was large and very clean.

Quick Getaway
Great area at north end of VA beach, good restaurants within a short walk, and very quiet during my stay. Staff was pleasant. Nice for a quick reset.

Hyatt Place Virginia Beach is fabulous!
The front desk staff is amazing. They are responsible for both the front desk and the bar area and yet, I never felt like I was waiting long periods of time for service. Super friendly as well!

Amazing Viewz
The hotel.is very clean. The king ocean front suite views were amazing. We woke up every moring watching the sunrise from our bed.

Hyatt Place was a very well maintained Hotel, very clean, friendly staff and the Burgers were great. Will be back again for another mini vacation.

Housekeeping needs attention
We have spent the last 3 vacations at this hotel. I would recommend going back but they need to work on a few things. Housekeeping needs to pay attention to detail. The first day we had no cleaning at all. Later in the week we were not left a bath mat. Also, later in the week there was only 1 kleenex and you could tell, we had to go to the front desk to get a box of kleenex. Breakfast was average, our first breakfast was super busy as it was labor day and they could not keep up with refilling the food. The rest of the week it was fine. We loved the balcony as always and that keeps us coming back

Great North Virginia Beach hotel
Great location. Good complementary hot breakfast. Lobby was big and welcoming. Elevators very responsive. There are pets so plan accordingly. We enjoyed north beach of VA beach as it's quieter and more relaxing.

Beautiful place, terrible food.
Hotel was beautiful and the location and views were outstanding. Our room was clean and crisp with an amazing balcony over the beach. Our only complaint was the on site bistro/restaurant. The food was low quality, obviously frozen and cheap ingredients. The burger was especially bad and the service took nearly 45 minutes for 2 meals. The staff at the restaurant was distant and seemed bothered by my inquiry about the food and it's quality. We'll likely stay here again but will find somewhere else to eat for sure.

Great vacation experience at this Hyatt hotel!
We had a great experience with this hotel. We stayed for a few days and loved the awesome breakfast selection and eating area. There was enough food for me to eat as someone who has celiac disease so that was wonderful as I usually cannot eat hotel breakfasts. The best part was having vinyl flooring and no carpet in our room which reduces my allergies tremendously and keeps the air cleaner. We loved having an ocean facing room which was the best. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the shower had nice pressure and the hot water did not run out after one shower. The hotel was also in a great location for us.

Family or solo trip
Great location, steps away from the beach. The indoor pool was less desirable due to its size. Glad they offered breakfast daily especially for hungry teenagers. The valet parking attendants did a great job trying to accommodate the guests, but there were delays, so request early. Overall, hotel was clean, fairly quiet and beach front.

Enzo was Great!
My overall experience wasn't delightful due to the timeliness of my check in (over 3 hours late) but Enzo at the front desk made the experience better and I want the his management to know that. Enzo is a problem solver and very professional.

The location is excellent. Right on the beach and walking distance to so many restaurants. The place was very clean and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again

I had an enjoyable and pleasant stay.
Location was great and the rooms are beautiful and clean. The noise level in 909 was almost unbearable on our last night, July 12, 2026. I'm not sure where it was coming from but it sounded like construction work in the room above us. The lobby was beautiful and clean and the cucumber water was a extra special touch. I didn't sit in the outdoor rockers because it appeared to be a smoking area and always had cigarette butts which are pretty disgusting to me. Overall, I loved the hotel!
