Nice staff, very clean but a little outdated. The rooms were cleaned daily but you can tell the rooms may be a little outdated. No issues with anything else. Breakfast was amazing!

This is a clean and friendly hotel and they provide a full breaksfast. The hotel is not far from Virgina Beach, Northfork VA and Portsmith, VA. This is budget friendly and the wings and fries are awesome. The staff is wonderful, some updates needed, however, overall it was clean. If you want a walk in shower, thus far, you have to ask for a King size bed, they have them, however, its few. They have stores that's in walking distance, and a 711 directly behind the hotel, they are next to Sams Club, Wallmart and all other retail stores you would need and the mall.

I’m very pleased with this hotel. I have been staying here several times over the last couple of years, because my son and his family live in the area. I have stayed at a couple of other places, but I prefer this hotel because it’s quieter, better quality overall, the breakfast selection is better, and it’s close to many restaurants and stores, but far enough away to not hear the traffic from the main streets. I definitely recommend this hotel.

From the ease of checking in, to the cool and comfortable room, pool access and excellent location. Two thumbs up for the Hyatt!

The Hyatt Place hotel is clean, comfortable and relaxing. I have stayed there several times and plan on staying there in the near future.

The location was excellent for us to adventure throughout the city. The breakfast was more than accommodating for our stay. We had a wonderful time in Virginia.

Visited VA Beach for a basketball event for college-age children. There were some positives and some challenges. Not sure I would stay here again. This was not a normal Hyatt experience. I expect higher standards for a Hyatt hotel. Challenges: -Leary of a hotel that has you sign an additional form detailing extra fees (check-in early fee? plus several others). I have never seen this before, and it seems very low-budget motel-like. -The couch in the room was stained and needed cleaning. We reported it and were told someone would come clean, but they did not. -The carpet is old, stained, and needs cleaning. -No microwave in a room with an area that has a refrigerator and a counter. There is plenty of space on a large counter for a microwave. Strengths: -Hotel is in a great location, adjacent to a plaza with some great places to eat! -Location was central to the places we had to visit. -Free breakfast each morning. -Refrigerator in the room. -Coffee maker in the room, coffee was good. -Nice size room with plenty of sleeping space with two beds and a pull-out couch.

Not the greatest Hyatt room we've stayed at. The room was outdated and the dining area was too crowded. The room we stayed at had a distinct smell. Wasn't impressed with hotel, we thought our stay at Hyatt Chesapeake Town Center was way better - cleaner and cleaner rooms.

I consider this hotel one of the few great hotels in the Greenbrier area! I was there for both business & to see family! It was even a breeze to extend my stay!!! The breakfast was plentiful & wonderful! The happy hour was delightful & reasonably priced!

Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Great customer service. Upon check-in I needed extra pillows because I had had a medical procedure. They were very accommodating. The room was very nice, better than I had expected. I will definitely be back to this hotel when I need to be in the area.
