Your dogs are always welcome at Hyatt Place Kansas City/ Overland Park/ Metcalf.

Fees

For stays of 1 to 6 nights, the fee is $100, regardless of the duration ($100 total).

For stays exceeding 6 nights, there is an additional deep cleaning fee of $100 ($200 total).

For stays exceeding 30 nights, please contact the hotel.

Fees do not include tax.

Weight Limits

Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under are permitted; two dogs may be allowed in a guest room provided their combined weight does not exceed 75 pounds.

To ensure the maximum comfort for all our guests, following the departure of a guest and their dog, there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. 

We deep clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens; we also fumigate the suite. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable dog/cleaning fee to the account at check-in.

Guidelines for Dog Owners:

All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Dogs are not allowed in the food service areas or the pool. Your dog must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.

The minimum age to reserve a guest room is 21 years old. A person meeting the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in, present a valid ID, and become a registered guest in the room.

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed in the public areas of the hotel or in the rooms. This includes the smoking of cannabis, e-cigarettes, or vaping of any kind.

The hotel will apply a $250 cleaning fee, plus tax, to any room that violates this nonsmoking policy. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $15 per night for incidentals.

Debit card users:

There is a $15 per night authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur, including but not limited to food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a “pending charge” and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within seven to 10 business days after checkout, depending on your banking institution.

To ensure a restful and enjoyable stay for all our guests, Hyatt Place Kansas City/ Overland Park/ Metcalf observes quiet hours daily from 9 PM to 8 AM.

During this time, we kindly request the following:

Refrain from loud conversations, music, or television in guest rooms and public areas.

Avoid congregating in hallways or near guest room doors.

We encourage guests to supervise children and ensure pets are calm and quiet during these hours.

Guests who experience noise disturbances are encouraged to contact the front desk.

Non-compliance may result in a courtesy call, and persistent issues could lead to further action per hotel policies.
