Spacious and well maintained rooms with an outstanding customer service is an excellent combination, the staff is very professional and supportive, highly recommended.

The shower was not cleaned prior to my arrival. I needed to get ready for a wedding and began showering shortly after checking in. While in the shower, I noticed someone else’s hair inside the stall. It was obviously not mine, which made it clear the shower had not been cleaned. I had to jump out of the shower immediately, as the situation was both unsanitary and extremely inconvenient given the time-sensitive nature of my plans. This was totaly gross and unsanitary!

The location was right, quiet and relaxed. The room spacious with a comfy bed. The staffs was friendly and respectful. I will stay again.

Cockroaches in the bathroom, very disgusting. Poor cleanliness of the place is clearly going down hill, lamps andswitches did notwork

Room was run down and breakfast not up to Hyatt standard. Not what we expected with a Hyatt property. Fina another hotel.

Front desk needs a little more welcoming attitude towards guests instead of being silly with each other. The breakfast leaves much to be desired because there's only one type of juice, one type of meat and some scrambled eggs. Oh, and some bread and bagels to toast. Nobody welcomes us like so many other hotels. My favorite part was it was very quiet and they put us in a very nice room.

We were greeted with smiles and a quick, easy check-in every at our 12:30am arrival after a late night arrival to SFB airport. We arrived in less than 20 minutes from SFB. Our short, one night stay was comfortable, clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast and fitness center.

From the friendly/prompt check-in to the room itsefl, the stay was great! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and updated, the cheese pizza from the small cafe was delicious, Walgreens is right behind the hotel dor last min needs, and the location was safe and convenient for catching an early morning flight from Sanford. Not at all like some of the reviews I read and way better than expected. Would absolutely book this location again.

Location was great! Very close to the mall, places to eat, and the Amtrak station. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. The pool was great, but the hot tub was a little green. The free breakfast was amazing! Lots of yummy choices - scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, bagels, oatmeal, bread, juices, coffee, milk, and much more! The room itself was a little bland. The desk and the kitchenette were nice to have, but there could have been more art work and the bathroom door looked like the door to the maintenance room in my office building. Too institutional for my liking. Overall, very nice! I would stay again.

Hyatt Place Lake Mary/Orlando North Stars: ★★★★☆ (The extra star is for the naps) Clean Sheets, Friendly Faces, and a Surprise Contact High I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Lake Mary, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag—though mostly involving a "bag" I didn't pack. First, the positives: The hotel is impeccably clean, and the staff members are absolute gems—professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The food was... fine. It won't be winning any Michelin stars anytime soon, but it gets the job done if you're in a pinch. However, my stay took a turn into a Cheech & Chong movie. My neighbor was apparently operating a small-scale dispensary out of their room. Despite the hotel being smoke-free, my room was constantly filled with a very potent "herbal" aroma. I alerted the front desk, and while they were quick to investigate, the neighbor apparently took their visit as a challenge. An hour later, the smoke was twice as thick as before. The Silver Lining: On the bright side, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. When you combine Hyatt’s plush mattress with the unintended "aromatherapy" coming through the vents, I have to admit: I had the best sleep I’ve had in years. I went to bed smelling like a 1970s rock concert and woke up feeling more refreshed than I have in a decade. Bottom line: Great staff and a clean property. If you’re looking for a solid night’s sleep and don't mind a contact high you didn't pay for, this is the spot. If you prefer your oxygen unseasoned, maybe request a room far, far away from the "party wing" if at all possible. lol. Enjoy!

This location is not what it used to be. The property is unkept and trash was not only in the parking lot especially in the back parking lot by the Walgreens, but also inside. There was a bag presumably from a takeout meal of one of the guests that sat on top of the trash can for 2 days. My sofa bed sheets were not clean.. The receptionist at the front desk told me that since they were sold out there was no guarantee that my request of linen, pillows and towels would be granted. The hallways were noisy through the night hours and into the early morning hours, I thought hotels had quiet hours! Would not recommend staying here if you’re in the Lake Mary/ Orlando area.

A beautiful hotel, super friendly staff and the rooms are so clean and cozy. I love the setup of the space. A really comfortable stay.

Hotel is very clean and the staff is wonderful. The housekeeping staff member is extremely helpful and kind, and he genuinely cares about the guests.

Beware: Hotel is doing renovations. Check it out before booking. Check in is in a hall. A little concerning and didn't feel safe. One elevator working and makes loud noise when it moved.

This place is run very efficiently and with care. It feels like home. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is fresh and atmosphere is clean and vibrant.

Excellent service. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are cozy and very clean. The staff is beyond accommodating. Breakfast spread is one of the best.

There was no running water at the hotel, and this was not disclosed by hotel staff until after my check in had been completed. They handed me my room key, and I was well what is my room number which they then told me and then the woman was like oh by the way the hotel has no running water due to a broken water pipe but they are working to get this fixed This was approximately 5:30 PM. The water was not restored until 5:00 am the following day. Of course when it was restored and I was able to shower there was no hot water. Additionally at the breakfast buffet as it was unattended by hotel staff 2 guest decided it was ok to eat directly from the buffet and kept stick their forks back in eating directly from the food platters.

The hotel DID NOT have hot water during my 1 night stay. I was not advised that the hotel did not have hot water at check in. I was informed by the front desk that the hot water has not worked for a few days after a water line had busted. I was not provided a refund. I don't know how the health department allows Hyatt Place to remain open with no hot water in the hotel. My family of 4 had to take cold showers after being at Universal all day! Hyatt Place failed miserably!!!
