Pet Policy
At Hyatt Place New York / Chelsea, we’re happy to roll out the welcome mat for your furry companions. We accommodate one 50-pound dog per room. Please note: There is a $100 nonrefundable pet fee for stays 1-6 nights. For stays 7-30 nights, there is a $200 nonrefundable pet fee that includes a cleaning fee. For stays exceeding 30 nights, please contact hotel.
Minimum Age Policy
The minimum age to reserve a room is 21. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. It will be authorized for $100 per night for incidentals. Guests can settle their expenses in cash upon check out. Credit Card Authorization forms can only be accepted 48 hours prior to arrival date.
Package Policy
Due to limited storage space, the hotel can only accept packages within 7 days prior to your arrival date. Packages received earlier than 7 days may be accepted at the hotel’s discretion and could incur an additional storage fee.
We are able to receive up to five (5) packages at no charge on your behalf. A $5 handling fee will apply for each additional package received. Oversized packages, defined as those measuring 36 inches or greater in any dimension, may also incur an additional fee.
All packages must be addressed to the registered guest who will be collecting them. Please note that the hotel is unable to store packages for more than 7 days.
