Smoking Policy
In response to an increased demand of nonsmoking service by domestic and international guests alike, smoking in all restaurants and guest rooms and public area is prohibited at Hyatt Place Kyoto. Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
Pet Policy
Hyatt Place Kyoto does not allow pets, except for service animals.
About Ventilation
For security and accident prevention reasons, the windows in the rooms are locked so that they cannot be opened. If you wish to ventilate your room, please use the ventilation function on the air conditioner in the room. Fresh air is drawn in from the rooftop of the hotel, temperature and humidity are adjusted, and then supplied directly to the guest rooms.
Safety Measures
The main entrance is locked from midnight to 6 a. m. for security reasons. Please bring your room key when going out at night. The elevator is equipped with a touch panel. When you hold up your room key over the panel, the elevator will only stop on your floor for safety.
Photography Policy
We kindly ask that any guests taking photos while staying at the hotel give due consideration to the privacy and comfort of other guests. In the interest of ensuring the enjoyment and privacy of other guests, please understand that hotel staff may on occasion approach you regarding the use of cameras and/or other recording equipment.

Disposable Guest Amenities
As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing waste, our hotel provides a limited selection of disposable guest amenities. We kindly suggest packing necessary daily essentials in advance. Should you have any special requests or require additional amenities, please feel free to contact us after check-in.
Bottled Water
To reduce the use of single-use plastics, our hotel no longer provides bottled water. Instead, you may easily fill your drinking vessel with drinking water available throughout the hotel.
