Great stay for family vacation!
Check-in process was smooth. Breakfast was good. Staff are friendly. I need a blanket and got it quickly. The environment was quiet. It was good for family trip.
Renovated rooms
Rooms are updated with new furniture. Rooms are spacious and have a nice separate couch area and bar counter top which is separate from the bedroom. Area is quiet at night so no food options in the immediate area.

Absolutely wonderful!
Best Hyatt Place I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed at quite a few. Staff were all so professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had various options. The hotel never felt crowded or loud even though it was full - my large room was so comfortable, clean, and quiet. Parking is easy and plentiful, and the office park area where the hotel is located is safe and well-manicured, and less than a 10-minute drive to many restaurants, stores, and a movie theater. Only a 40-minute drive into downtown Washington DC. I would definitely stay here again.

A great option in Sterling, VA
This is a beautiful property in a great location. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are large and comfortable. Very close to shopping, the airport and great restaurants.

Great location in Sterling
Great hotel with central location for our needs. It is a wonderful mid-stay hotel but offers everything you might need for a visit near IAD. Keep in mind that the shuttles to / from the airport only run at the top of the hour and the ac systems might be a bit loud going on and off but i think that is a function of those type of units. Also, if you get in after 11 pm to IAD the shuttle does not run at that time.

Lucky me: picked a good one! Hyatt Place Sterling VA/Dulles Airport North
29-30JUL26/1 nt - This was an unplanned-for overnight due to not getting a flight out of IAD/Dulles for BOS , and I chose the right spot: excellent service from the shuttle driver and the evening front desk agent; spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation, restful sleep. (the only thing I found missing was an in-room microwave, which I feel should be available in any ‘suite-type’ accommodation). And, there was a great restaurant in walking distance. (the hotel shuttle will take you there, and pick you up.). I used some World of Hyatt points, which worked out great for me. I would certainly choose this property again, (if cost meets what I can afford).

Great staff!
I was worried what was available to us with our flight being cancelled at 11pm at night. We are world of Hyatt members so my husband was able to book a hotel online for us. Based on the reviews it looked nice but you never know with hotels. The room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had no luggage so I placed a Walmart order and the staff was helpful in bringing it up which I appreciated since I was alone with my son. Yousef was so kind and helpful to us with making me coffee after breakfast had ended and getting my son some juice, we got in at 2 am so we missed breakfast. The hotel staff was all kind and the shuttle to the airport was so so convenient. I would for sure stay here again if we are in the area or if hopefully never we get stranded at Dulles.

A little disappointed
Always a good stay! Just as long as well trained employees are handling your reservation. The hotel seemed to be changing out their employees on a regular basis. this seems like every month, which can be chaotic sometimes. Thus your registration and signing into your rooms can be quite lengthy. The hotel is centrally located near stores and restaurants. The staff is usually respectful, kind, and professional. The morning breakfast Is to die for, as they always keep a variety of items and the food hot. the rooms are comfortable, and very Kept up, when they are not rushed, as I found a hair on my bathroom wall. I'm completely bald! They do provide a shuttle to and from the airport upon request.

Consistently Good
Hyatt has been very consistently good in the many hotels I've stayed at over the years. This was no exception. My room was clean, the staff were nice and the breakfast was good. Job well done.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay Near Dulles Airport
Had a pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Sterling/Dulles Airport-North overall. The location was convenient, the hotel was comfortable, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The staff was generally helpful, and the property met expectations for a short stay near the airport. The room was spacious, and the King bed with sofa bed setup worked well for our group. A few small operational details like thermostat instructions and housekeeping replenishment could be communicated a little more clearly for added convenience, especially for longer stays. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and the hotel offers a good balance of convenience and comfort for travelers visiting the Dulles area.

Great stay for family vacation!
Close to Dulles airport, about 15 min drive. The staff is friendly. The room is quiet and clean. Nice breakfast. What else to expect!

Excellent Hyatt Property in Sterling-VA
I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Sterling North and had a truly wonderful experience. It had been a while since my last visit, and I am very impressed with the positive improvements. The new staff and management changes have clearly made a difference, and the property renovations look fantastic. The service was outstanding throughout my stay. John, Mahendra, and a first-shift associate (whose name I unfortunately do not recall) were incredibly polite and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome. Every employee I interacted with contributed to making my stay pleasant. The food was also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and very enjoyable. The second-shift associate did a great job preparing delicious meals. I especially appreciated the team’s willingness to help. I needed a laptop charger and mentioned it to the front desk. In less than two minutes, they were able to provide one for me to use during my stay, saving me from having to go out and buy one. That level of service was truly impressive. Kudos to the entire team—please extend my most sincere thank you to all the employees at Hyatt Place Sterling North. I will definitely be returning very soon.

Very clean and friendly
Very clean and friendly hotel in the heart of Sterling. Lots of restaurant choices around. Will be staying there often as I intend to be in Sterling a lot!

Great park and fly deal with free breakfast
Great location for flying through Dulles Airport. We used their park and fly service. The facilities are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best that we have had at any hotel/motel in years. Greatly appreciated.

A satisfying stay
The hotel was clean, orderly, and the room was comfortable! The front desk staff and housekeeping personnel were very friendly, responsive to my needs, and very professional throughout my stay! There's a continental breakfast, with all that you could expect in a continental way. Ample parking for all guests. Shuttle bus available to take you to and from Dulles airport. If you have a one-night stay at the hotel, you can leave your car at the hotel while flying out of Dulles Airport, and it will be free of charge for the first 5 days and only pay $5 a day afterwards!

Great Hotel! Amazing Staff :)
I love the room design at this hotel! There are two seemingly separate spaces; a sleeping space and a relaxing space. You can see the TV from both spaces. The staff at this hotel were incredibly kind, caring and accommodating. I traveled from out of state to this destination for a surgery and could not be more impressed and happy with my stay at this hotel!
