Great location and excellent service and check in experience. The hotel could use a refresh it's a little dated compared to other Hyatt hotels I've stayed at. The breakfast was also not to par with other Hyatt hotels, it had the basics eggs, sausage, cereal oatmeal fruit and of course coffee, milk and juice. It did have a bar which was nice.

Extremely disappointing experience — 1/10. We booked approximately 20–25 rooms at this hotel for my sister’s wedding, so we brought a significant amount of business here. Unfortunately, one of the biggest complaints we received from our wedding guests was about the front desk staff. With the exception of Mario, our experience with the front desk was extremely unprofessional. The overnight staff, along with some of the daytime staff, showed very little professionalism or customer service. Several of our guests personally complained to us about rude attitudes and the way they were spoken to. When we arrived at the hotel, one staff member was already yelling and arguing with another customer in the front desk area. That immediately gave us a terrible first impression. When you work at the front desk of a hotel, especially one hosting wedding groups and large numbers of guests, professionalism and basic respect should be the minimum expectation. The group sales experience was also extremely frustrating. We initially worked with Cherie, and communication was terrible. Phone calls went unanswered, calls were not returned, and getting assistance was unnecessarily difficult. I even have emails documenting the communication issues. Eventually, I had to switch to Francis, and the difference was night and day. Francis was amazing. He went above and beyond to help us with my sister’s wedding and our room block. He was responsive, professional, helpful, and actually made us feel like our business mattered. Mario was also one of the very few staff members who treated us professionally and provided good customer service. Management seriously needs to review the front desk operation, customer service standards, and staff training at this property. When a family books 20–25 rooms for a wedding and roughly half of the guests come back complaining about the front desk, that should be a major concern. Overall, my experience was 1/10, and I am being generous with that 1. The only reason I am giving any credit at all is because of Mario and Francis. They deserve recognition for doing their jobs professionally and treating guests properly. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience left an extremely negative impression of this hotel.

Simple request, terrible service. I had to get Hyatt Corporate involved, which made such a simple situation turn into a several hour waste of my time. I'm from the area and really didn't need to stay in a hotel, but I wanted to make a special time for a special guest coming from PA that had never been to TX. I sure wished I would have went to Springhill Suites by Marriott. I've always thought Hyatt's breakfast was better than most but we were catering to those with specially food requests - a receipe for disaster. No bacon. No regular sausage. Who eats turkey sausage? I've never seen this at any Hyatt I've ever been to.

Had a great experience at this Hyatt. The room was very nice and spacious for the two of us. Breakfast was a little chaotic but there were a lot of guest from a wedding party all trying to eat at the same time. But overall would recommend this hotel.

hard mattress, they have air conditioning issues I had to change roomand in the new room I went to the fridge did not work.it cost to much money to have all those issues fixed.

Need to have coffee in lobby earlier people leave for work early no coffee. Carry some items shaving cream toothbrush tooth paste etc...

Skip it if you can. It is really old and outdated, furniture torn, very old bathtubs and curtains. Feels lika a motel. I would not go back.

one of the best places to stay in Sugar Land. Best location excelent room friendly stuff. I really enjoyed my stay there and I will definitely go back there again on my next visit.

I had a wonderful experience from the customer service; I was treated excellently to the environment and parking. The room temperature was great and the room toiletries and cleanliness was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place. It's a fantastic hotel. Very good price, great team, close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Quick overnight was much better than surrounding hotels. This was just close enough to the EpiCenter to make for an easy drive in the morning. The room was nice and clean. The check in staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. Overall a nice stay and we'll likely stay again for the next one.

The location is amazing. It is the best part of the hotel. The rooms are large and well equipped. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Some of the reception staff were not very friendly.

Located to the visiting medical facility. The tranquil back scenes were a water stream and ducks. It made for a comfortable stroll in the evening. The nearby restaurants were too expensive for me, but the experience was nice.

Great stay and great location. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was outstanding. I did run into a problem on my initial floor. But when I brought it to their attention, I was quickly moved to another floor. Awesome customer service!

From the moment we drove up I knew this was the perfect play to stay. Beautiful grounds and hotel tucked away near a beautiful lake. Everyone was super friendly, the staff were all helpful and eager to make our stay enjoyable…. And they did. The room was spotless, super comfortable and nice and quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

Overall very good, nice and clean. Breakfast was ok but not bad, but could have been better. Free water bottle to member was good idea.

Everything was great except the AC didn’t cool the room. Nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was included and it was a hot breakfast lots of choices.

Excellent stay! The front desk staff are noteworthily personable, kind and helpful. The breakfast was packed with healthy options like hard boiled eggs, fresh yogurt, lots of fresh fruit, turkey sausage, and more. The bed was, in true Hyatt fashion, amazingly comfortable. Excellent stay with excellent rooms and free parking. The free breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in this tier of property.
