Nice Hotel & Location
The property is in good shape, and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my stay. Some of the staff did not recognise my loyalty status, which is unusual for a Hyatt. I had to mention my status to avoid free items from being charged to the room. Air conditioning is quiet but a little undersized (so the room doesn’t get as cooled as I wanted). I will definitely stay again. It’s a very good location for walkable restaurants. There’s a nearby BBQ, Chewy’s, Chili’s, Black Bear Diner, Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse. They have reasonable rates, nice place to stay.

Worst Hotel Experience EVER!
Bugs! There were bugs ALL over the room! This place should be shut down. The. The cherry on top… the fire alarm went on for more than 5 minutes during breakfast the next morning.

Not bad, except..
Pool is closed until they meet code. Washer & Dryer were out of service (soccer tournament). Roaches in our room. When I made them aware, I was advised they are expecting a full extermination in the next month or so. They were aware.

Great location and very clean rooms. Front desk staff were excellent. We are very picky where we stay and this hotel met all of our expectations. Very reasonable price

Hyatt Place-Houston Northwest great place to stay when working in the area.
The Hyatt Place-Houston Northwest is a very well-maintained facility. The rooms are clean and include a refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a very good value. The breakfast was not exciting but was adequate.

Enjoyable stay
Clean and modern hotel with a great breakfast. It was rather convenient to the highway and has several restaurants in the same parking lot.

Hyatt Houston experience.
Usually in all the Hyatt the staff is very professional, this time I did not see it. Other than that the place is good to stay.

This is a Hyatt???
I do not know how this is a Hyatt-branded hotel. There was a large notice on the pool gate that it was shut down by the health department. The entire third floor smelled like weed. There were water stains and mold or mildew in the corner of the room. The phone did not work. The carpet was work down and poorly patched. The vanity mirror light was broken.

This Hyatt place is centrally located in Houston. Very convenient to everywhere.
This Hyatt place is right off the highway 290. There are tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. it it’s conveniently located and it’s about 20 minutes from anywhere you need to go. the rooms are clean and the lobby is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this Hyatt place.

Ok for the price
My experience was ok I mean the hotel was extremely booked however the rooms were ok and front desk was ok. The front desk representative with glasses had excellent customer service skills and very professional he made the experience actually better than the initial experience.

Okay for few night stay
Overall is okay place to stay, but the breakfast was not that great, few years before it was much better, the rooms are clean but there is this smell of mold or just high humidity that not going away. Gym is sad - all the dumbells are rusty and the smell of mold persist there as well.

Unwanted guests in the room
I appreciated the staff moving me to another room, but I experienced cleanliness issues during my stay and was disappointed with the overall condition of the property. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again. Keep your suitcase, closed.

Business Trip
Clean, Quiet, friendly staff, close to many amenities. Rooms cleaned every day. I would stay in the location again, easy to get on the freeway, close to restaurants and shops in walking distance

Reservation Website for Accuracy
Nice clean quiet hotel. Great location. Room I reserved didn't exist at the hotel and was notified of this at check-in. Was told I would be given a different room at a lower rate. Was given a different room, but still charged the rate of the room I initially reserved that didn't exist. Card was already charged hours before I made it to the hotel for check-in. Update the website for accuracy is needed.

Avoid if you can...not worth it
Quite possibly the most undesirable Hyatt location. Billing ops was a disaster, with no assistance because the manager works a different shift. Stay away from the second floor......noisiest location every night during the week

Middle leg of a three week business trip at multiple properties. The team made my stay enjoyable. Sydney was great!!
Great experience. Sydney Murdock and her manager made my stay fantastic. Needed a light repaired in my room it was handled within 24 hours. Thank you for the great stay.

Disappointing Security and Management Response
I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay here. During my visit, three cars were broken into overnight—one of them within 50 feet of the front entrance. When I notified the front desk around 9 AM on Saturday, they said they didn’t want to wake the manager to review the security cameras. The police informed us that there have been a lot of break-ins recently in this area, especially around neighboring hotels. The fastest action the hotel took was sweeping up the broken glass after the police arrived. There was no sense of urgency or proactive communication from management, and the night staff seemed completely unaware or unprepared to monitor for suspicious activity. Based on the lack of vigilance and poor response to theft, I would seriously consider another location for safety and peace of mind

Inexpensive, Clean but bare bones at best.
This was relatively inexpensive and you get what you pay for. No frills. Breakfast is seemingly prepared and reheated or microwaved. Very few staff to be found and very few room amenities such as body lotion or water. It is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Better than expected
Rooms were nice and spacious. The pillows were a bit too soft. Customer service was good. Breakfast was not good at all! Poor selection. Waffle dispenser was broken. No fresh fruit except for some oranges that weren't sweet.
