The staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean on arrival. Warning, don’t bring a plate from the buffet into your room. Housekeeping will not take it, and if you do it again, not only will they leave both plates but they will also leave your used coffee cups and then not restock them with clean ones, nor will they restock the coffee and creamer etc. I guess that will teach me. Mind you that the room is over $100 per night, and it’s Hyatt.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast experience on our first morning was pretty busy, a large crowd even sitting at the table in the room where the food was, but the staff made sure there was plenty of food. Our room was just what we needed, and parking felt safe. The main issue was the location. In its current state, it was very difficult to find in all the construction, darkness, and rain on the evening we first arrived. Passing the exit, we had to cross the lake and turn around. We were very unfamiliar with the area, and missed the exit. This, of course, is not the fault of the hotel, but just noting that the location was not ideal for our likes.

Great place and people. We love this hotel and always stay here when we're in Rockwell. From check-in to check-out, everything was great. Thank you so much!

I couldn't sleep at all, the pillows were horrible... So much noise in the hallway between 10 and 1230am.. then the same crappy breakfast, every day. Then no one is at the front desk to ask questions, sometimes they are there, and sometimes need to wait for them to come out from the office. Also I was told that I can get two bottles of water in the morning and two at night, but if no one is at the front desk, how are you suppose to get the water. Then when the front desk person is there and ask for the water, the look that you receive is as if I'm lying to them about the water, and immediately they need to check the computer to see if I'm a guest first and then they repeatedly have to ask, "so you didn't get any water today, correct". And felt like I need to answer the question first before they give you the water. It is water, not champagne. Just don't understand the behavior, as if they are doing me a favor...I am a paying guest, needing water.. It was brutally hot out side. Just tired of this type of service.

Overall okay for a Hyatt. The refrigerator is not that. It hardly works and the temperature is motion controlled to 75 degrees. Clean, but the best part is the staff.

This is a great location adjacent to the 1-30 on our route. It's a new hotel and was clean and quiet with plenty of parking. The breakfast area was very nice and we got an early start to our next travel day. The night and morning staff were friendly and professional. There is a small bar in the lobby which we didn't take advantage of but which would be nice for some situations. There are lots of restaurants nearby but still a relatively quiet area.

Very quiet and comfortable. Knowledgeable and friendly service. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Will definitely stay her in the future.

The room/bathroom is looking a little tired. Only 1 working elevator. But the room was clean and the ac was cold. All in all great stay. Oh, breakfast was amazing!

Open layout when you arrive, it felt very welcoming. Parking was easy. We traveled with two young children who were super excited about the pool; it was a fun stay! Shout out to the front desk staff at checkout who gave my kiddos a coloring page and crayons to take for the road -- it made their day! The breakfast also deserves recognition; plenty of variety, it was fresh, and the staff were on top of it!

Great customer service, they were very kind while I dealt with an issue with hotels.com. Very clean hotel and very spacious rooms. Great location, good food options close by.

The room and hotel were immaculate, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the sitting area in the king standard room; it provided a comfortable space to relax in our room.

I booked my room directly through the Hyatt website, which was very easy to use. The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff was professional, kind, and responsive. I was able to communicate with the staff via text message, and they started a text thread with me before I even arrived! I didn't partake in the free breakfast due to my intermittent fasting schedule, but the hours for it seemed very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Rockwall Hyatt. Breakfast was great, room was clean, bathroom had a walk in shower. Bed was comfortable and pillows were nice and plump. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, friendly helpful staff! The beds were comfortable and I could not hear outside noises, I loved how quiet it was once in my room!

This is one of my favorite Hyatts to stay at in the Dallas area. I have family who live here and stay here several times a year. The staff is very friendly in the hotel is incredibly clean. The breakfast is good and I feel like it’s a safe area

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this Hyatt Place. After staying just one night, I woke up with a large red, swollen bite on my arm that was not present prior to checking in. Given the timing and circumstances, this strongly suggests an insect bite originating from the room. This is unacceptable for a hotel under the Hyatt brand, where cleanliness and guest safety should be non-negotiable. I reported the issue and documented it with photos, but the experience alone was enough to seriously undermine my trust in this property. No guest should leave a hotel worrying about what they were exposed to while sleeping. I would strongly caution future guests to be vigilant, and I hope Hyatt management takes immediate and concrete action to address this issue.

We had a great time and rest very good. Breakfast had several options my family enjoyed our stay and Rockwall hotel was very clean.

I would have given the stay a higher rating if the breakfast was adequate. Since the breakfast was one of the specific reasons, we chose this hotel I had to go with a "poor" rating. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast did not meet expectations at all. We went down 30 minutes before it was to close. There was a place for eggs but none there and no more being made. There was syrup but no waffles and bagels but no cream cheese. The coffee was also cold. There are two ice machines in the hotel, and one was broken. I understand that is not always in their control, but it was annoying that there wasn't even a sign telling you to go to the other one.

Very clean. good staff and great location with lots of options nearby for shopping dining and even a dinner cruise a short uber away
