I stay almost exclusively with Hyatt everywhere I go. I stayed at this location for business due to its convenience for what I needed todo. the hotel is visibly worn out with scars and marks on the walls, what I would consider dirty carpet invisible stains everywhere. upon entering my room, the carpet was dirty, they were stains all over the place, there was a hole in the arm of the couch that clearly appeared to have not been cleaned at all, stains on the foot ottoman, someone’s dental floss was still on the floor near the bathroom sink, stains on the bathroom sink countertop that I wiped off with a cloth stains around the wood, where the refrigerator was, key cards for another room that were left in my room, stains on the curtains and just overall, a worn down appearance visibly around the room. It definitely did not live up to the Hyatt or the Hyatt name. I won’t be staying here again.

The room I was given upon check in had no working air conditioner so I had to change rooms. I requested daily housekeeping, and received no housekeeping service for the entire week I was there for business (Monday - Friday). I have stayed at this location for several years, but lately it seems poorly managed with high staff turnover and poorly maintained facilities.

Staff needs a little education but it's a nice place to stay. Heeds more handicapped portable shower chairs. Hotel was very clean. Staff nice.

Except for the friendliest check in person ever, this experience was terrible. The room was definitely clean. The phone was broken. No one ever answered the phone. Breakfast- very little. Poorly restocked. Cereal was never restocked. No juice. No fresh fruit. Waffles were not fresh and hard as rocks. Good luck on finding ice machines. I’m very disappointed with Hyatt. Very disappointed.

The hotel itself and our room was decent but the hotel hallways & common areas were HOT. In addition, the main reason for our stay was to enjoy the pool and it was absolutely disgusting. The sides and bottom were covered in algae, so slimy, and absolutely disgusting. The water was green and cloudy. People were swimming in it and I’d be surprised if someone doesn’t end up severely sick or worse. It was that bad! I have never seen a pool in that condition.

Cleanliness was severely lacking. Chairs in lobby and carpet stains everywhere! Smelled like mildew and stuffy. Breakfast subpar

Horrible front desk customer service. Neither at check in or check out could either of the ladies at the front desk figure out how to charge the form of payment I provided and instead charged the credit card I originally booked under. I've stayed at countless Hyatt properties and this is never a problem, except for this property. The whole building was humid, the carpets were damp in the hallways and the room, the AC in room was loud and never turned off because it could not get down to the set temperature. The food at the breakfast bar was inedible. Food that should have been hot was cold, bread was moldy, and the coffee tasted burnt and no amount of cream or sugar could take away the awful taste. Only one of the two elevators worked and the working elevator squeaked and made clanking noises. I would never willingly choose this Hyatt property ever again. A truly awful stay not worth my money or time.

Front desk have attitude issues and play keycard games. I had to make 3 trips back and forth to front desk every day to access the room. Sofas and carpet are stained. Received blatant racist treatment by one of the front desk people and this place doesn't honor or care if you are a member of Hyatt. I was charged more than non members.

Cleanliness was NOT what I expected from a Hyatt hotel, room appearance and overall hotel appearance left a lot to be desired. There were holes in bed sheets, grayish looking towels, ripped curtains, flickering lights. Only 2 luggage trolleys, not a fully stocked bar, no microwave in the room. Most importantly the pictures online are not updated, they do not show the actual condition of the hotel and rooms.

This property was old and dated. Need improvements on furnitures (mattress was overused), sofa, and carpet. Breakfast was average and towels were old.

I was really disappointed with this stay. It did not feel like a Hyatt property at all. The front desk staff were not welcoming, and when we reported problems, it felt like nobody really wanted to take ownership. We had a room with a leak, and after changing rooms, the new room still had visible signs of old water damage on the ceiling. The sofa bed also had used gum left inside from a previous guest, which was disgusting. Cleanliness was a big issue throughout the stay. Some towels looked dirty, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the pool water looked very dirty, almost like it was not being filtered properly. When we asked for clean sheets and towels, they were not brought to the room. We were told to go to the front desk and pick them up ourselves. Overall, between the cleanliness problems, maintenance issues, and poor service, this was one of the worst Hyatt stays I’ve had. I would not recommend this hotel.

Do not stay here. We had a horrible experience and there is a tremendous amount of deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed. Breakfast was horrible and maintenance issues were not dealt with when reported.

run down, carpets were dingy and felt so gross, the sleep sofa is pulling apart from the couch, could hear people talking and yelling in hallways, lobby was nicest area but actual rooms were just gross, was also hot in the hotel, would not stay here again

Pool is green. No cocktails or food as advertised. No housekeeping unless requested. Serious safety issues around the hotel. Floor mats are buckling and carpet is torn. Someone is going to get seriously injured or worse. The staff is great but the condition of the property is abysmal.

I will not be returning to this hotel. The place was outdated. The lobby and breakfast area were nice so I thought the rest of the hotel would be the same. Once I walked passed the lobby I thought it was a Motel 6. I dealt with 2 front desk people, the older female was nice. Although, she charged me twice for room. That's ok, it can be fixed. The other was a gentleman, and the main reason I will not be returning. He was extremely rude and very unhelpful. The breakfast was really good, they had a lot of variety.

Breakfast was not at all like it was advertised. Pillows and mattress were in bad shape. We were put in a handicap room which is inconvenient when we didn't need it.

Hotel itself is dated but the staff is amazing! Breakfast is included and they do a good job at mixing it up a little every day.

Great location. Super welcoming hotel staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies. The mattress was old and squeaky. Room was clean and bed linens were soft. Good rating because of the hotel staff. They set the experience for your stay!

This hotel is a great budget-friendly hotel, very clean. Even though it is an older hotel (rooms don't have microwaves or USB ports), it is excellently maintained, the staff are friendly and the location is great - terrific Mexican restaurant across the parking lot and other eating places close by. Minor downsides: The breakfast is standard; could use another toaster as one isn't sufficient for guests and have a microwave available in the kitchen area for evening use as the rooms don't have them.

Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst is conveniently located and easy to reach. It is one of four hotels on a two-block stretch of Thousand Oaks Dr, so it is not unique in that regard. It offers an okay, albeit very limited, free breakfast; it has average rooms - comfortable with pretty good wifi but only a mediocre channel lineup but small sinks/bathrooms.
