Pet Policy

At Hyatt Place Detroit/Utica we’re a pet-friendly hotel and gladly welcome you and your pup while you’re visiting us in Utica, Michigan. Learn all about our pet policies below.

Fees

For guests staying 1–6 nights, a $100 nonrefundable pet fee plus taxes will be administered. For guests stay 7–30 nights, a $100 nonrefundable pet fee plus taxes and an additional $100 cleaning fee will be administered. For guests staying 30 nights or more, please contact the hotel.

Weight Limits 

There is a maximum of two dogs with a combined weight of 75 pounds permitted per room. Individual dogs may not exceed 50 pounds. All dogs must be housebroken.

 *We welcome guests with disabilities traveling with their service animals. Service animals are not pets and are not subject to this Pet Policy. For more information, please contact the hotel.

Housekeeping Policy

The safety, wellness and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is our top priority. In an effort to respect our guest’s privacy and ensure their comfort, we have adjusted standard daily guest room housekeeping services to provide service every fourth day during your stay.

Daily housekeeping service can be requested at the hotel during check-in or by calling the Host Stand 24 hours in advance for service the next day.

In an effort to ensure your safety and well-being, periodic safety and well-being checks will still occur at Hyatt Place Detroit/Utica.

Smoking Policy

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed in the public areas of the hotel or in guest rooms. The hotel will apply a $200 cleaning fee, plus tax, to any room that violates this nonsmoking policy. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
