The location is convenient, hotel facing mountain, back to a lovely pond and a trail you can wander around. The stuff is nice, the cleanliness of the lift and in the breakfast room can be improved, also the selection of the food.

  • Snake River Sojourn

The Hyatt Place in Dillon is nestled between condos just outside Keystone and not far from Breckenridge. It is beautifully maintained and has a friendly staff. It was perfect for our trip to the mountains. I would definitely stay again.

  • Marginal Experience

The place is average at best. Surly front desk staff and housekeeping staff that are oblivious to your presence and will run you down with carts and equipment; it happened more than once. Benefit - the room was clean. BFast - marginal, coffee is really, really bad.

  • Hyatt fans: you will be terribly disappointed!

The Hyatt brand of hotel is my family's favorite. We had reasonable expectations for Hyatt Place since staying at many previously. This was the worst one we have ever stayed at! There are not enough parking spaces for all guests, so people were parking in the fire lane and in "no parking" zones. The paint was peeling in the bathroom of room 248. The employees were wearing exercise clothes. Food and dishes at breakfast were stacked up around the trash cans with no one clearing it away. Food was not being restocked as it ran out. The oat milk was sour... I hate to complain, but the stay was really bad! I even ordered a caesar salad for dinner and they didn't put the caesar dressing on it, and the parmesan cheese was the powdery kind you get at a pizza shop. It was an $11 salad. Please, Hyatt, fix this hotel!! It could be great! Poor management and low customer service standards. Train your employees better!

  • Major Letdown.

This was such a let down of a stay. I hoped for better in the mountains. Got checked into a non cleaned room. Front desk was great and very nice and put me in another room/suite. Unfortunately, this room was just as bad. Both sinks backed up IMMEDIATELY and had very low water pressure. Also, the shower water never got hot. Luke warm at best. Hairs on the shower wall and hairs in the carpet. The blackout curtain was missing but still had the chain to pull it down only, nothing came down. The door stopper was bashed through the drywall at the entrance. The carpet outside the elevator on the 6th floor had a brown trail leading in and out of it. I saw the cleaning crew but didn't see or hear any vacuums whatsoever. I asked for a late check out, which i got but at 11:30 the cleaning crew came in trying to tell me it was checkout. This place just felt very neglected and the cleaning crew didn't seem to really care. Not what I expect from Hyatt. Hyatt has lots of nice properties...this is not one of them.

  • Comfortable suite with beautiful mountain views.

Lovely suite with vies or mountains and beaver ponds. It was a very comfortable stay. As usual, excellent breakfast and ample parking.

  • Great location in perfect little town.

Keystone was such a great surprise. Hyatt balcony is perfect for enjoying the weather with breakfast or evening. Very large with beautiful views. Great walking path right behind that takes you into town. Will certainly be back.

  • Not what you are looking for if you are familiar with this brand

This property does not the meet the standards of typical Hyatt Place. The rooms are small, and there is a sofa on the wall opposite the bed. It is not a pull-out bed and the television is mounted at an awkward viewing angle. There is very limited dresser/counter space.

  • Worst Hyatt ever

Upon entering the room, I first noticed that the shades on both windows were broken and the shades could not be raised. The air conditioning unit was also barely working and sounded like a semi-truck motor. I also noticed right away that another guest had already been in my room prior to my arrival. The toilet seat was up and some toilet paper had been used, there was trash, including their bag tag, in the trash cans. I notified the concierge who said house keeping would see to my room right away. I then went to the fitness center which was in disrepair. The AC in the room was not working. Trash was spilling out of the trash can and the cleaning wipes tub was just sitting on the floor. Dead bugs lined the window sill, and the filter on the waterbottle filler was on 'Red" for needing replacement. I was gone for almost an hour and when I returned to my room, house keeping had not been there, they never came during my stay. The wifi was out for most of the first night and the hot water was also out to the entire building both that night and the morning, so I had to take a cold shower. The worst part was that I found a crusty booger under the pillows on the made bed when I went to get in. I switched beds, but it was clear the sheets had not been washed. This hotel is in very bad shape and is clearly understaffed, as cleaning products were piled up in boxes in the hotel entryway. I checked out early after only one night electing to stay someplace else. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I am extremely dissapointed in Hyatt. I always book with Hyatt properties because in general I can expect an exceptional experience regardless of what city I am in. This property undermines that reputation.

  • Do not recommend

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The location was great, but that is all they had going for them. The housekeeping staff walked into our room one of the mornings we were there while we were changing. They didn’t knock or announce themselves. I said “hello” and they just turned around with no apology and didn’t even close the door when they left. One housekeeper left a bag of laundry and a bag of toilet paper in our room. They started making our bed but didn’t do the pillows and they left a towel on the floor (we did not put the towel on the floor). The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel. The “vanilla yogurt” was plain Greek yogurt, I couldn’t pick up my French toast with my fork as it was rock hard, there were only a couple pieces of bread, no bagels, the only meat that was ever available was Canadian bacon even though the signs said bacon or sausage, the potatoes were terrible, the dishes had things caked on them, and no tongs available for many items. There were “fresh baked cookies” after 4 pm that were rock hard. The hot tub on the 6th floor was out of service, which after reading reviews, it sounds like it’s been out of order for a very long time. The hot tub on the 5th floor was not very clean. There was no parking available so staff said we were fine to park in the fire lane.
