Hotel Experience & General Information
Hyatt Place Cancun Airport is a newly built, essential‑service hotel located directly adjacent to Cancun International Airport (CUN) and minutes from the Cancun Airport Tren Maya station. It combines free breakfast, a complimentary 24‑hour airport shuttle, flexible workspaces and a relaxed, contemporary design inspired by the Mexican Caribbean, making it a convenient base for quick layovers, business trips or pre/post stays for resort vacations.
The hotel’s design is influenced by the Yucatán landscape, with warm greens and browns, local stone accents and artwork that reflects the Mexican Caribbean. Spacious social areas with plenty of natural light, indoor‑outdoor seating and a casual lobby bar bring a bit of Cancún resort energy into a practical airport‑hotel setting.
We are especially well‑suited for business travelers, airline crews and solo guests who need to be near the airport, as well as families and couples looking for an easy pre‑ or post‑stay before heading to the beach resorts or catching early or late flights.
Check‑in begins at 3 p.m. and checkout is 12 p.m. (noon). Early check‑in and late checkout may be available for an additional fee and are always subject to availability at arrival; World of Hyatt elite members receive priority whenever possible.
We do not charge a daily resort or destination fee. Your rate already includes daily breakfast, Wi‑Fi, access to the fitness center, the outdoor pool and the airport shuttle. Local taxes and a small service fee may apply depending on the rate type booked.
Yes. If you arrive before your room is ready or have a late flight after checkout, you may leave your luggage with the Front Desk at no additional cost for the same day.
Yes, the hotel can generally receive small packages and envelopes for registered guests. Please include the guest name and arrival date on the label and contact the hotel in advance to confirm any handling fees, size limits or storage time frames.

All guest rooms have a Cozy Corner with a sofa, a dedicated work area, a minifridge and a TV. Higher‑category rooms may offer additional space, preferred views or premium locations, while suites include a more generous seating area and separation between sleeping and living zones. Yes. Every room includes a dedicated workspace with desk or table, convenient power outlets and free high‑speed Wi‑Fi (typically 25+ Mbps) suitable for email, VPN, video calls and streaming. Public spaces such as the lobby and bar also offer comfortable areas to work.
All rooms feature modern bedding and pillows, and allergy‑friendly rooms and hypoallergenic pillows can be requested in advance, subject to availability. Please let us know any specific sensitivities when you book so we can do our best to accommodate them.
Daily housekeeping is provided. Guests may request reduced‑service or refresh‑only options, extra towels or amenities, or adjust preferred service times by speaking with the Front Desk during their stay.
Accessible guest rooms with features such as wider doorways, roll‑in or accessible showers, grab bars and lowered peepholes are available, along with accessible routes to the lobby, elevators, restaurant, bar, pool area and public restrooms. Accessible parking spaces are also available near the entrance.
Yes, all guest rooms include a minifridge or minibar‑style cooler that is ideal for beverages and light snacks. It is not designed as a full freezer and may not accommodate large items.
We do not offer traditional full‑service room service. Instead, guests can purchase hot and cold options from The Placery bar and enjoy them in the lobby, on the pool deck or back in their room.
Rollaway beds are not available. Many rooms already include a Cozy Corner sleeper sofa, and children can share existing bedding in accordance with occupancy limits.
Yes, housekeeping service is provided daily, with the option to customize frequency or request additional refreshes, towels or amenities through the Front Desk.

Yes. The hotel offers a complimentary 24‑hour airport shuttle between the hotel and Cancun International Airport. The shuttle runs on request; guests should contact the hotel or follow the instructions in their confirmation email to arrange pickup and drop‑off times.
Most guests use the complimentary hotel shuttle to reach the airport and then connect to official airport taxis, pre‑arranged private transfers or rental cars. Ride‑hailing apps may be available depending on local regulations, and the nearby Cancun Airport Tren Maya station provides rail connections to other destinations in the region.
The hotel is next to Cancun International Airport and close to nearby business parks, outlet shopping and local entertainment. Key beach and resort areas, such as the Cancun Hotel Zone and Golf Club, are reachable by a short drive or transfer rather than on foot.
While the hotel does not operate its own car‑rental desk or bicycle program, multiple major car‑rental companies are based at Cancun International Airport just minutes away. Our team can help direct you to arrange transfers with trusted local partners.
