Spanning 49,000 sqm, Hunan Provincial Museum houses more than 180,000 exhibits including the well-preserved corpse of Xin Zhui and other relics found in the Western Han dynasty Mawangdui tombs, and bronzeware from the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

Yuelu Mountain

Xihulou holds the Guinness World Record as the biggest restaurant in the world, spanning 5.8 hectares. Built in 2004 in traditional Chinese style, the eatery employs 300 chefs, seats 5,000 and serves Hunan and Cantonese cuisine.
