The property is severely aged and needs an update. The employees are quite friendly and know their jobs. If you bring a pet especially a dog do not expect a potty spot since they chase you almost a block away. There is no potty spot on the property. The breakfast of course is quite good and a nice variety which is normal for Hyatt places. The bed was very good and comfortable. There was a lack of USB connections for those that are tech savvy. We found a bunch of people parking in handicapped areas and when we question them they claim they were management which we really don't think they told us the truth.

Nice hotel, with a great location in downtown Champaign. Several places to eat and drink nearby. Bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciate that the air conditioner does not blow on the bed! Good shower, though it’s a bit odd that the bathroom door is a sliding glass door. Might be a Hyatt thing.

I'm a frequent user of this Hyatt and it never disappoints! Anytime I have to make a trip to UIUC, this is the place I stay. The surrounding area has plenty to do and the restaurants are great. It's only a mile walk from campus. The lobby and rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful!

Our stay was truly delightful. The staff went above and beyond, and the daily room service made us feel like family. The check in was smooth, the little touches of comfort made us feel welcome and the staff were very helpful with helping us choose our stay for future trips. Thank you for all you do!!

The room was so nice, clean, and comfortable! It was nice to have 2 beds with a pullout so my 2 kids got their own beds. Breakfast had great variety, too. Our favorite part was the free EV charger in the parking garage we were able to utilize overnight.

A very well-run hotel. Management treats staff well, so the staff treats the guests well. The breakfast is very good, would be great if the eggs were fresh and not always scrambled, but hey it's a small—but very well-run breakfast operation.

Great experience with the room, amenities, parking, and location. The room was exceptionally clean. Blackout shades are on every window. The location is in the middle of a quaint small downtown with plenty of entertainment options. The breakfast was the typical fair. I liked that they use washable plates, cups, and silverware.

Great location to hospitals and two good restaurants right across the street. Guido's makes a mean martini. They also have a Tesla charging area in the parking deck which is extremely convenient. I think they also had a charger for non-Tesla electric cars as well.

Great location and very nice rooms. We were in close proximity to some very good restaurants in downtown Champaign. I would give an excellent rating except the bathrooms needed better cleaning. There was long black hair all over the bathroom floor.

Hotel is perfectly situated downtown - near great restaurants, bars and other downtown activities, it's a perfect location. Anything you need to get to in the downtown area is walkable so get out and explore. Hotel is clean and staff is very responsive. I've stayed at other Champaign hotels and this one of the better options, even if a little more expensive. Hotel offers breakfast for guests - don't expect a custom meal, but it's a serviceable start to the day. We had a minor room issue and they attended to the maintenance within 5-minutes of my call - huge kudos to the engineering staff and front desk. After a 3-day stay, we'd highly recommend this property for your next stay. Be sure to get out and enjoy the local establishments - and stop by Punch, the cocktail lounge attached to the hotel.
