We came in from a hard days work and just wanted to shower and get some sleep to do it all over again the next day only to find out the elevator stop working.... and we were on the 3rd floor with my bad knees.... :(

Great place lots of friendly people clean room, a lot of shopping centers breakfast was great very comfortable and peaceful I would love to go again but just to relax stay in the room and enjoy the peace!!! Quiet

Great location, clean hotel. Good atmosphere, good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Very pleasant stay. Close to shopping, restaurants, River Walk Shopping and Park. Near CSUB. Nice affordable stay. I will stay there again when visiting Bakersfield .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Wonderful Stay at Hyatt Place Bakersfield!** We had such a wonderful experience at Hyatt Place Bakersfield and would definitely stay here again! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and helpful, and that same great customer service continued throughout our stay. A special thank you to **all of the staff** — front desk, housekeeping, breakfast and kitchen staff, bar and dining staff, maintenance, and management. Everyone plays a part in making a hotel stay enjoyable, and it truly shows when a team works hard to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. We appreciate everything you do, including all the work that happens behind the scenes! The hotel itself has so much to offer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a separate sitting area, sofa, work space, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of room to relax. The complimentary Wi-Fi was convenient, and the hotel also offers business services for anyone needing to get some work done. The **complimentary breakfast** was a huge plus, with a nice variety of hot and cold options to start the morning. We also loved having **The Market** available for quick snacks and grab-and-go items, as well as **The Placery** in the lobby for food, drinks, and a comfortable place to sit and unwind. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy, including the **outdoor pool, fitness center, laundry facilities, meeting spaces, digital check-in and digital key options**, and the hotel is even **pet-friendly**, which is wonderful for families traveling with their pets. The location is also very convenient, with restaurants and shopping nearby. Whether you're traveling for business, with family, or just passing through Bakersfield, this hotel has pretty much everything you need in one place. What stood out to us the most, though, was the **hospitality**. A beautiful hotel is always nice, but great employees are what make you want to come back. Very lovely stay and friendly staff and understanding. I like the fact that they took the time to call and say that they didn’t have the room that we booked for but they accommodated us with a king bed instead. Lovely stay

Rooms on the side of the pool can be loud since the pool is open late on hot days. The pool seems small but people in it seem to enjoy it. The room was very clean and the customer service at the front and bar were great. You have to pay for parking in addition to the cost of the hotel.

Had to travel to Bakersfield for a funeral, booked this hotel because I had been there a year or two ago and the hotel seemed nice and was newer at the time. This was the WORST hotel stay I’ve ever had. Please tell me what the purpose of charging $10 per day for parking is, especially when the hotel doesn’t even have cameras to deter the homeless and Bakersfield tweakers to stay away. Then when walking into the hotel the lobby feels cool and nice but guest rooms and hallways are hot and stuffy. Right when you step off the elevator there are old, dusty fans attempting to circulate the air. The room seemed dingy, bathroom counters barely wiped down. The shower had old hair, soap scum in the corners. 1 of the elevators broke leaving only 1 elevator functioning causing packed elevator and long waits. Our room would barely cool off causing me to go out and buy a fan to help, I bought a new one so that I knew it was clean and not dusty like the one in the hall. In our room the toilet chain broke which caused us to request a room change. We switched rooms to the first floor so we didn’t have to worry about the broken elevator but even though that room seemed a little cleaner it would also barely cool off. This hotel is too new to be is such bad shape.

Great clean rooms good food nice relaxing bar area. It was a Friday and it was under staff but they did a amazing job juggling everything!!

Hyatt Place Coffee Road in Bakersfield is centrally located in Bakersfield. Numerous good eats and make sure you visit Dewars family owned Ice Cream and Candy on Rosedale HWY or Buena Vista Road. 15 mins from I-5 and located in a good safe neighborhood. Pleasant staff always helpful! The only Hyatt available in Bfield.

The front desk attendant, Robert, was rude and unhelpful. Please provide training to the staff to address customer experience. One staff member confirms some information and the next attendant blatantly dishonors it. As customer we will always trust the front desk attendant. So please train your staff so customers can have a consistent experience.

On the surface the hotel looked fine. The staff were absolutely the best. So friendly and made sure they took care of what your needs were. But the room fell way short. It was filthy. I spilled a little water on the carpet and used a white towel to wipe and dab it easily and the towel turned black. I never let my bare feet touch that filth again. I killed 6 bugs in the room. The toilet was stained on the bottom from urine which they didnt clean. I talked to a very nice worker who said I needed to go up to the higher floors since they ususally allowed pets on the bottom. I said well how about just cleaning the carpet instead. I am disabled and need to be on the bottom floor. I will not be back. They also dont have microwaves or toasters in the rooms but the do have a small fridge. When i realized it wasnt that cool I tried to turn it up but they said they took the knobs off because they couldnt trust the customers, I mean what damage could be done. I wish great staff would be enough but it isnt.

Very nice clean hotel. Accommodating staff and close to restaurants within walking distance. They charge for parking which is a total negative.

Wonderful experience! Recommend trying the abundance of breakfast options. Definitely will be staying at this hotel in the future.

I was traveling alone to go take care of my daughter, who started Chemo. I got a very late start on my trip and decided last minute to stay in Bakersfield for the night. "Q" who checked me in was so sweet and welcoming. She got me a cart from the Kitchen to haul my luggage in as a previous guest had not returned the official luggage cart. When I got to the 4th floor I saw the official cart and after i unloaded my luggage I took both carts down. "Q" offered me a complimentary glass of wine for bringing back the missing official cart. It had been a long day and I really appreciated her kindness. She was a delight to talk to and I wish her all the best.

Very clean big rooms. stayed there multiple nights already can honestly say its my favorite hotel by far. Definitely thinking about going back When is summer to enjoy the pool as well

We stayed here this past January and couldn't have been more happy, which is why we returned. The front desk staff was/is amazing and partucular shout out to "G" she is the best. The roims were very clean and well equipped and, for me, no issues. Cannot wait tk return next week.

None of the windows in this hotel open. Air conditioning was not working during heat wave. Management knew but no one informed me until it was too late to make other plans. This hotel is not up to standard of other Hyatts.

Welcoming and pleasant staff greeted us upon entering, even though they were working with another member. Quick and easy check-in through the application online. Getting the room keys was fast and pleasant. Pool was heated and clean. Very friendly staff.
