Pet Policy

Your furry friends are welcome at Hyatt Place Amarillo - West. All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be leashed when in public areas. Pets are not allowed in the food-service areas or pool. Your pet must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.

We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less, and a maximum of two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room.

For guests staying up to six nights, there is a $75 nonrefundable pet fee. For stays of seven or more nights, there is a $100 nonrefundable pet fee, plus a $100 cleaning fee. Fees do not include taxes.

Following the departure of a guest with pets, we take specific steps to ensure the room is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep-clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens and we fumigate the room. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable pet/cleaning fee to the account at check-in.
