Exceptional Front Desk Team—A Special Shout-Out to Anthony!
The front desk team at the Hyatt is outstanding, and I always feel genuinely welcomed. Anthony, Tiffany, Claire, Jade, Vickie, and Natalie are truly the best faces to greet guests. I travel often and spend a lot of time away from home, and their kindness makes every stay a little easier. A special shout-out to Anthony! He is always kind, welcoming, and professional, and I’m genuinely happy to see him whenever I arrive. This Hyatt truly has a wonderful team!

NOT a real Hyatt House
DO NOT stay here if you are looking for the room experience that the Hyatt Houses are supposed to offer. My room was a Hyatt Place room experience for a Hyatt House price. If you need the Hyatt House amenity of a full kitchen, then skip this one and check the other properties right next to this hotel: TownePlace Suites, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, or Hilton Garden Inn. The area is nice but if you need kitchen, like I did, this is NOT the place to stay!

Uncomfortable Beds.
The staff was very nice and the place was clean. But the bed was very uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the couch after waking up several times. My girlfriend had the same experience for her room.

While I am glad to hear that our staff was very nice and that you found our property clean, I am truly sorry to hear that the beds were so uncomfortable for both you and your girlfriend. Getting a good night's sleep is the most important part of any stay, and it is disappointing to know we missed the mark and that you had to resort to the couch. Favorite Tampa Hotel
Room was great for my overnight stay. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Perfect location for early morning flight at TPA.

Great stay
Great clean hotel with friendly staff and great food. The complimentary breakfast did exceed expectations. The food at the bar was a special treat

Not for vacation
The front desk staff, Tiffany, Vicki and Clair amazing customer service! I was staying here for surgery. Did not know exactly what day I was checking out. I changed the days twice. They were very accommodating. Also offered late check out. Safe location, nice bar/dining room area. Free breakfast had plenty to choose from. The shutter driver to and from the hospital was accommodating as I was the last to leave the hospital.

Great front desk staff
Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. She was friendly when we called to say we were going to get there much later than expected and she was alert, friendly, helpful, and welcoming when we checked in (after 11pm). Our room was very clean and well appointed and the bed was comfortable. I was happy that there was an extra blanket in the room as my husband is always hot and I am always cold.

Goes above and beyond
Airline lost our luggage. The hotel staff assured us that everything was ok and that this happens a lot. They next day they extended our checkout time and made sure we had a ride to the airport and back once our luggage got there

Great place to stay
Great spot to stay before an early morning flight. Great clean room comfy bed and the outdoor fire pits looked nice. And pool looked nice too! We had an early flight so shuttle was very convenient. Also walking distance to WOB.
Nice Hotel - Wonky Housekeeping
Nice hotel with wonky housekeeping system. We had a 4 night stay to see area spring training games and other attractions. High point of stay was comfortable and quiet room and excellent complimentary breakfast. Low point was crazy housekeeping system where rooms are apparently scanned for early morning do not disturb signs and then your room is deleted from housekeeping schedule. We had to complain 5 times to get our room cleaned on the 3rd day; even the front desk staff seemed flummoxed to explain it. We asked for a comp night for the trouble and received 50% off one night. We also had a balky toilet which was not fixed until day after check in as nobody on staff to fix anything after 3 pm which is nuts. The front desk staff were kind and helpful and maybe victims of the other departments dysfunction. Not sure if any other hotels are better after reading tons of reviews prior to booking. Location near Steinbrenner Field and other major roadways is excellent exceptt for closed off Frontage Road due to construction. Our staff was restful except for issues mentioned above.

Everything was top notch. The staff was very friendly. The room was great. The bar tender gal was so helpful. The food was great.

Highly recommend
Nice rooms, and very hospitable staff. This was my first time traveling alone and I had to stay for 8 days. I truly felt at home. I would absolutely come again

Perfect place to stay near Tampa airport.
Hyatt House is perfect for a stay close to the airport. Easy to get to. This hotel was clean, safe, professional staff. We enjoyed the pool, food and drinks at H Bar. We will return to this location when visiting Tampa again.

Shuttle LONG hour+ wait!
Do NOT count on shuttle!!! You will be sorry and might even miss flight. Waited hour for pick up and had to call twice. Return to airport even worse with 70+ min wait. Horrible and shuttle service is A-1 , servicing all area hotels not owned by hotel. Hotel is nice and quiet if driving car or getting taxi.

Nice place to stay
Very clean hotel. The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was done well. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay
We are use to the Hyatt as a wonderful place to stay. This excursion was better than expected. They did everything right. Would stay again.

Hospital for Endocrine Surgery partner
Great experience all around. Staff was friendly and helpful and the coordination with the endocrine surgery center made logistics a breeze.

Loved this Hotel
This is one of the nicest, newest, cleanest, best run, best employee, even decent breakfast, properties in the chain. This place sets the standard that other properties should try to strive for. SERIOUSLY. My only regret is our time there was limited. You could stay there long term if you needed to because it is truly fully equipped and spacious. One of the best malls in the Tampa area is walking distance.
