Hotel Policies

A $200 incidental deposit per stay will be authorized on all credit and debit cards at check-in to cover any incidental charges. The hotel reserves the right to authorize one night room and tax up to 72 hours prior to arrival.

Minimum Age Restriction: A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room. The primary guest must be at least 21 years old to check in to the Hyatt House Pittsburgh/Bloomfield/Shadyside. 

ID must be shown at check-in. 

We only accept credit or debit cards with a chip.

Credit card authorization forms will only be accepted until one day prior to arrival.

For guests staying 1–6 nights, a $75 nonrefundable pet fee plus taxes will be administered. For guests staying 7–30 nights, a $75 nonrefundable pet fee plus taxes and an additional $200 cleaning fee will be administered. For guests staying 31 nights or more, please contact the hotel. There is a maximum of two dogs with a combined weight of 50 pounds permitted per room. Individual dogs may not exceed 25 pounds. All dogs must be housebroken. Pets are not allowed in the Guest House or food service areas. Guests with pets must use side or back entrances, and dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Service animals are allowed in all public areas.
