Hotel was nice,staff was great .microwave in room did not work and air conditioner shut off when we left for the evening so we came back to a super hot room.then the air would not go below 68 which made the room uncomfortably warm

I guess we assumed there'd be a spa with the pool and that the pool wasn't so small. Also, the wear and tear made it seem there was a lack of maintenance of the room. Breakfast advertised sausage and there was none. Photos showed tortillas for breakfast too and there was none. The eggs had to be from liquid eggs in a carton. They weren't horrible but not good. Instead of real butter there was only Smart Balance vegetable oil blend. No thank you. The orange juice was delightful though and the staff was always attentive from greeting to breakfast and check out.

Both rooms were clean. The only thing I would recommend is placing a mattress cover over the mattress. The staff was very friendly.

Room had a couple issues including dirty plates in cupboard and television remote not working. Plus the fire alarm went off for the building several times. Remote was never replaced until the second time I asked for it, and then it turned out the TV wasn't working and maintenance wasted almost 2 hours of my time replacing and setting up the new TV. Spoke with the Manager Tammy about the issues and she agreed to provide 10,000 Hyatt points to compensate for the inconvenience. She failed to do so. Unacceptable.

Nice hotel and good location except the shower was cold and a just a drizzle and water tastes horrible and they don’t supply bottled water.

Great location Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this hotel if you need to be close to ASU. Lots of eating options within walking distance.

Excellent hotel in Tempe. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Lots of breakfast options in the morning. Be prepared to walk a bit from the parking garage if you are driving a car.

Excellent location for ASU convocation events and commencement, as well as basketball and football. The arena is across the street and the stadium is a short walk.

We had a great stay at the Hyatt House in Tempe while attending ASU graduation festivities. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around campus and the surrounding area. The hotel was very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the overall experience was stress-free and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

This location is excellent for anyone visiting a student at ASU or just visiting the area. The hotel is near places to eat and the campus. This property is clean and safe with a friendly staff that is happy to help.

Great place to stay for my son's graduation from ASU. It was right next to the venue and next to the campus along with walking distance to restaurants.

It was clean and well kept. I enjoyed the small kitchen and the ability to have some separation between the bed and the living room area. It felt like a little temporary home. Parking was a daily charge which isn't the best, but it was pretty convenient and easy. The location is close to the ASU football and basketball games. There are a lot of things within walking distance. Rooftop bar and pool are nice. Highly recommended.

Perfect location for visiting ASU and surrounding areas. Right across the street from dorms. Rooftop has really nice views right near A rock. Parking convenient. Room was spacious and clean, great water pressure.

There was lots of of good things about the hotel (e.g., location, breakfast, water available throughout the day, comfort of bed), but we had difficulties which started with our initial booking. We were supposed to be honoured a tournament team fee, but when called, they would not honor it and we settled on a fee that I was not comfortable with; however, we had to stay at the hotel due to other baseball players already booked in. She then booked it under the wrong fee. I had to contact her a few times with no call backs. When we entered the room - it was clean and spacious. It felt like a little studio which was perfect. Our top blanket had stains on it, so we asked for a new one. We also needed a few additional pillows and towels and they shared we had to come down for those as they had no staff to help us. We then had another blanket come to us dirty, so we had to get a new one of that. We were supposed to have house cleaning come our second day, but she didn't show up, so we talked to the front desk and he shared he would make sure they came the next day. They still didn't show up the following day. Then, they finally showed up the night before we were leaving at 4:30pm. We had a number of other little things come up and difficulties and the front desk immediately shared that we should be compted a room night for all our back and forth and troubles. When we booked ourself out, it was not in the system so I was told I had to pay. I shared that I was already in contact with management - who I was waiting for a call back. There was no communication between staff and management, and I spent so much time trying to get a call back and settle things. I am on vacation and I shouldn't have to deal with this!!!! I told both upper and lower level staff NOT to charge my credit card until things got resolved and they still did. I am still waiting for a call and we have been checked out for two days. On a positive, the coffee was good and the breakfast bar was good if you got there within the first 30 minutes - often afterwards, you wouldn't be able to get a meat (sausage or bacon), no boiled eggs and the muffins would be picked over. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. The top pool was pretty cool - much smaller then anticipated, but the views were great.

Rooms are super roomy and comfortable. The rooftop and view from it are really nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was on point. I really enjoyed this hotel.

Excellent location for visiting ASU campus, very walkable. Received ASU group rate, so good value, however regular rate would be pricey for condition of room, sofa was old and not comfortable for sitting. Tall island did not work for me, tall chair difficult for me to use. Lobby area is nice. Bar restaurant was open, roof top bar closed. We were told it was a staffing issue. Not a problem because many campus restaurants nearby. Blanco’s Mexican and Flower Child both had good food. Close to campus, walkable, if you are not visiting ASU I would not recommend.

Hyatt House Tempe is the perfect location for ASU families! We’ve stayed multiple times over the last few years including earlier this month. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great, staff is friendly and parking is super convenient! We appreciate the staff very much for making our stays here enjoyable, especially Gideon at the front desk!

Everything was great. Only complaint is that when the bar/restaurant is open you can't bring food or drinks into the area. The problem with that is they seem to open whenever they want. Hours of operation seems more like a suggestion. Most the time it's closed so we bring our own stuff up to enjoy the rooftop. But the one time they decide to open be prepared for the guy to yell at you to leave.
