Pet Policy
Hyatt House Lewes/Rehoboth Beach will allow your dogs but no other pets.
Weight Limits
We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less and a maximum of two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room during your stay.
Fees (excluding taxes)
For stays of 1–7 nights: $100
For stays of 7–30 nights: $200 (This includes a nonrefundable $100 cleaning fee.)
To ensure maximum comfort for our guests, following the departure of a guest and their dog(s), there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep-clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens; we also fumigate the suite. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable dog/cleaning fee to the account at check-in.
Guidelines for Dog Owners
All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Dogs are not allowed in the food service areas or the pool. Your dog must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room, or you can be present when room is serviced.
Minimum Age Policy
The minimum age to reserve a guest room is 18 years old. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $50 per night for incidentals.
DEBIT CARD USERS: There is a $50 per-night authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur, including but not limited to food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a “pending charge” and unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within 7–10 business days after checkout, depending on your banking institution.
Smoking Policy
Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed in the public areas of the hotel or the guest rooms. The hotel will apply a $250 cleaning fee, plus tax, to any room or suite that violates this nonsmoking policy. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Express Housekeeping
Guided by Hyatt’s Culture of Care, we are pleased to announce Express Housekeeping, our evolved housekeeping stayover program for select service properties in the Americas.
Express Housekeeping provides a lighter service—after every second night (every other day)—compared to the current full clean after every third night. This program acknowledges the needed evolution for more frequent housekeeping stayover service in today’s business climate. Building on data-derived guest insights, Express Housekeeping is the next evolution of Hyatt’s Housekeeping Guest Personal Preferences (HGPP).
The program is grounded in data and designed to address the most critical touch points in the stayover housekeeping experience: removal of trash, replacement of towels, replenishment of toiletries and tidying the bed. Listening to what matters most to our guests is at the core of our decision-making process. Property teams are to use their discretion for all other in-room housekeeping touch points beyond Express Housekeeping.
