The hotel location was perfect, an easy walk to most attractions or a quick metro ride. The hotel was very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable with nice touches like a hot chocolate bar on a cold afternoon. And the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Great home base to explore NYC

We really enjoyed our stay at the Herald Square Hyatt. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Staff were very helpful. The room was small but but the view of the Empire State Building definitely made up for it! The hotel is centrally located in Korea town with tons of great restaurants and very close to the 34th street station. Overall excellent stay especially for the price.

Better than expected

A very good option and walking distance from many locations around times square without the crowds. The rooftop offers remarkable views of the empire state building in a fairly private setting. The old TV in the room was a letdown.

Good hotel with a standout rooftop but outdated TVs

Beware tue resort fees charged at this hotel. This is not a resort hotel, but rather a standard business hotel in NYC. The fact that you are going to be charged 30+ per day and the only "amenities" you receive are a bottle of water and a drink coupon make is 🚫 it up to the Hyatt standard.

Great location and walkable to many great NYC Christmas spots like Macys, Bryant Park, Rock Ctr, Broadway, etc. Also walkable to Chelsea, Greenwich Village and SoHo. If you’re not a walker, the subway is only 2 blocks away. Hotel is also not far from Penn Station where you can get an Uber shuttle to LaGuardia for far less than other options. Was easy to check my bags at the desk prior to check in and after check out. The lobby was very nicely decorated for Christmas and I especially enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate bar! The bar and lounge area had cool decor and comfy furniture . Although the rooftop bar wasn’t open, it was accessible for catching the amazing view -C”could almost reach out touch the Empire State Building! The room was clean and the bathroom was particularly nice. Keurig and mini frig in the room but no microwave. Housekeeping came every day and it was so nice to come back to a clean comfy room after a long day of Christmas fun! Would definitely stay there again!

Central to NYC Christmas Fun

We loved this boutique Hyatt Hotel. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel’s location was excellent, close to many restaurants and metro stations. We’ll definitely go back!

Great location in NYC

Very clean, friendly staff, convenient location! We were visiting for Thanksgiving week with the desire to see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in person. We only had to walk two blocks to get a great spot to watch the parade!

A Perfect Thanksgiving

My flight was cancelled and after walking to three hotels with no success, I arrived at the Hyatt where Michael was the only one willing to help. He quickly made a reservation and ensured I had a place to stay. His professionalism and kindness turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. I’m truly grateful for his outstanding service.

Great staff - Breakfast was very good.  Excellent location in NoMad neighborhood with lots of food nearby and convenient to transit.

Great staff at this Hyatt location! Awesome with our 5 year old child.  Recommend staying here for service staff and location. Clean, and comfortable.
