Check-in Requirements

Guests are required to show a valid photo ID at check-in. Please note a $50 USD security deposit is charged per night and due upon arrival. This is refundable, pending a successful damage inspection after checkout. The minimum age for check-in is 21.

Check-In & Checkout Times

Check-in: 3 p.m. or later

Checkout: Any time before 12 p.m.

Smoking Policy

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment (including vaping) and any room found to have been smoked in is subject to a smoking fee of no less than $250 + tax. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately

Early Departure Fee

Hyatt Centric Chicago O’Hare has an early departure fee of one night’s room and tax. Departure dates are reconfirmed on the guest confirmation email and are subject to a fee if changed after the check-in process is completed.

Pet Policy

At Hyatt Centric Chicago O’Hare, we welcome your four-legged travel companions. We allow up to two house-trained dogs or cats per room. Service animals are always welcome and exempt from fees.

Fees:
1–6 nights: $75 per stay
7–30 nights: $150 per stay

Every month, the hotel donates 25% of its pet fee revenue to Bark4Compassion. That means every pet-friendly stay helps fund rescue flights, care for animals in crisis, and build a more compassionate future.

Package Policy

The hotel charges a package receiving fee of $5 to $100 per item, based on weight. The guest’s name must appear on all packages. Fees are as follows:

• Packages 0–49 lbs: $5/piece (small packages including envelopes)
• Packages 50–75 lbs: $8/piece (crates/medical packages)
  
• Packages 76–100 lbs: $10/piece (large items)
  
• Pallets/skids: $100 each
  
• Small display: $25 each
  
• Large display: $50 each
