Great Location. Walking distance to everything. The whole front desk crew was amazing  Very clean but very small shower. The bed is awesome. Great pillows and comforter. I just wish they would've made the shower bigger.

Amazing Hotel

Location was nice, less than a minute of walk to the orange line, and a few minutes of walk to the green line. Near Quincy Market, North End, and the Waterfront area. Also, staffs were super helpful! Love our stay here!

Nice choice!

Great location for walking to restaurants, Faneuil Hall and TD Garden. Very clean. Really appreciated the early check-in. Would have rated it higher except for cost. Canadian one night stay was more than $600, but in fairness, it was competitive with other area hotels.

Great Location

We very much enjoyed our stay in Boston. Great location in walking distance to many parts of town. We felt the value was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. Would pick this hotel again when back in Boston. 

Lovely stay in Boston

This is my second stay at this hotel.  It is close to all in Downtown Boston.  The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and staff is always friendly and helpful.  The rooms with kingsize beds aren't huge but they are cozy.  

Always a pleasant stay

The hotel is steps away from the Old State House and Boston Massacre site. It is walking distance from almost every major site in the city, it could not be a more convenient location. The staff was second to none and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained. 10/10 experience from Hyatt.

Fantastic hotel that is 10 minutes from historic sites in every direction.

Our group of 13 stayed at the Hyatt and we had an exceptional experience. The rooms were spacious enough to share a room, the staff at the bar was wonderful, and the location was so convenient. If you are looking for a spot to enjoy all of Boston, this is the place! The Transit is a hop away, but the majority of downtown Boston is a very easy walk away. I recommend getting a feel for where you are via Uber, then walking. Google Maps/walking with our directions from our phones from the hotel, kept turning us around a bit.

Wonderful location, top-notch staff, and great accomodations

It’s a bit off the beaten path but it was a great place to stay!! Clean and bright. The staff was excellent from the front desk to the bar and everything in between, we were completely satisfied. We will definitely stay there again!

Great place

I loved the experience at this very central hotel. Staff are amazing. Boston people are friendly like people are in Ireland. I felt totally welcome, at ease and at home. Thank you to the staff at reception who are helpful, discrete and genuine

Halloween in Boston

I looked at MANY hotels in the Boston area for a vacation I took with my fiancé. Boston hotels are notoriously tiny, and while I knew that was likely not completely avoidable, I wanted something that didn't feel overly cramped, and was luxurious enough to enjoy for a full week's stay. We settled on Hyatt Centric for a variety of reasons - clean, modern decor, a coffee bar and full restaurant/bar located within the hotel, a central location, and overall reasonableness in price compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel delivered on all of these aspects - the rooms were clean and made up every day, with really nice touches including automatic (soft) lighting under the bed and bathroom mirrors if you happen to get up at night, and a Drybar hairdryer. All of the staff was very courteous and the location was incredible - we walked almost everywhere. Additionally, while our King room was small compared to many hotels we've visited in other areas, it still gave us enough room to get around easily without feeling cramped. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Great Hotel in a Prime Location for Visiting Boston

We always stay there since my daughter started looking at schools in the area. She is now studying at UMass Boston. We now are recognized by the staff and are warmly greeted when we arrive. It’s a beautiful hotel, a great location and an amazing staff that make us feel at home

The hotel is advertised as offering luxury accommodations. While the property is nice, I would not describe it as luxury. The rooms are small but comfortable. The staff is wonderful but I cannot comment on the breakfast because there was no one there to serve me. However, that was a lucky thing because I found a wonderful place for breakfast and coffee just across the street. 

Average accommodations in a convenient area

The Hyatt Centric is staffed with kind, knowledgeable, and professional staff.  It is centrally located for trekking all over Boston.  Very near a metro station, tourist attractions, and fantastic food and drink options (including within the hotel).

Hotel was clean and attractive.  Rooms are small since it's a city hotel - but sufficient.   Mattress was heavenly.  

Small refrigerator was nice to house Mike's Pastries and waters.  


Pampered

We were pleasantly pleased with the overall experience.  Although the room was compact, it's what can be expected as a hotel room in a very tight and narrow city such as Boston. The entire staff was courteous and attentive

We enjoyed our stay at The Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall. Helpful front desk staff. Comfortable rooms. Great location. Nice restaurant and a good breakfast menu. 
We enjoyed the  Saturday morning leisurely vibe!

Perfect For Boston Centre

Wonderful staff - F&B staff, front desk staff (very helpful).  Incredible beds and linens, all super comfortable and slept well.  Room was modern if on the smaller size - still exceeded our expectations for an urban property.  Breakfast was in a very comfortable restaurant and service was prompt, food was incredibly good.  As a tourist the property location exceeded all expectations - easy to get around town from this hotel.

Boston travel

We had stayed at this Hotel during Covid and were very pleased that we decided to go back because of the experience. We had a great time. Location is perfect. The Hotel was very clean and staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Will do it again

Boston Trip

We had a nice experience, but did not like that the entrance was in an alley way.  If you prefer being a little off the beaten path (but still close to things, like the T), this might be the place for you!   The rooms are small (and clean!), but very functional.  

Nice stay in Boston

Clean rooms, helpful staff. That is where it really ends for us. The bed was not Hyatt-standard comfort. The rooms and bathroom were so small we didn't really have room for our luggage and ourselves. The shower appeared to be an afterthought built into the entryway, and not large enough for us to bathe in.The room was nearly wall to wall bed, We climbed over the bed to move around. I recommend it for very small travelers who have no need for space.

Tiniest Rooms for the biggest price

On vacation through New England, we chose the Hyatt Centric primarily for its location, which is fantastic.  Easy walk to all the attractions and great restaurants within the downtown core.  We had a room on the 11th floor which was quiet and very comfortable albeit a bit small.  I recommend the Hyatt Centric to all that are looking for a very good hotel, centrally located with very good service.

Great stay, great service

The Hyatt Centric is a perfect location if you're sightseeing in downtown Boston. we were able to walk most places, even dining in the North end. Excellent service and typical Hyatt amenities added to the experience.

Central location, the property and staff were great.
Great breakfast and lattes! The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
The beds were so comfortable.
My only complaints are the bathroom door was so heavy to open and close and it would have been great to have a mirror in the bedroom along with the mirrors in the bathroom.

Great property and location

The freedom trail was one of the main things we were in Boston to do, so this was the perfect place to be in the center of the action. Also, we were within walking distance of the awesome eateries of the North End. Perfect location for our first trip to Boston. It was pricey, but worth the investment if you want to safely be in the center of all the action.

Great hotel in a great location. Rooms were small but perfectly adequate, beds were very comfy. There was some street noise bit that’s too be expected in a city. Staff was over and beyond friendly and helpful. Hotel is steps away from Old Statehouse, great restaurants and fun shops. Will absolutely stay again.

Wonderful stay

Carly at the front ldesk became a friend.  Veronica, our housekeeper on the 5th floor, was an angel  for keeping our room beautiful…the room was really small for 3 seniors. (A standing coat rack with some hooks would have helped.)  We all loved the beds on platforms.  No shelves or dresser drawers so we had to live out of our suitcases on the floor.  Things we loved: the beds, the sheets, the bathroom mirror with the clock, the nightlight that automatically came on when you walked through the bathroom door and the ability to control the temperature, the lobby, the food in the restaurant, the location of the hotel and especially the wonderful, friendly amazing staff.  Sue, also at the desk and Alfredo at the door we’re also so friendly and helpful

Best location for a tourtst

The Hyatt Centric is a great hotel within a few blocks of Faneuil Hall and other historic sites.  Hotel is clean with a friendly, helpful staff.  The restaurant is a bit pricey and has few options for breakfast; however, there are many restaurants within walking distance.  I will stay here again on my next trip to Boston.

Great stay in Boston

From the check in to the check out I was well attended to and was even offered access on buying tour tickets at a fair price and easy to arrange through the hotel. Very well train staff with very intuitive to details of clients needs. 

Best hospitality & best location to tour around Boston

Rooms are very small, but well appointed and clean. Staff is excellent and the bar is solid. The location was great for accessing the downtown metro.  We took Uber and public transit but mostly we just walked.

You can't beat the location of this hotel.  It's right in the middle of everything and walking distance to anything else.  The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.  The room was small, but had everything we needed.  The room was cleaned every day and was very comfortable.  I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Boston.  

Great Location and More!

While my room was small it contained everything I needed, including a nice bathrobe, and was very clean with comfortable bed and pillows.  It's very close to a lot of busy tourist spots but down a quiet side street.  I heard no street noise.  I will stay here again.

Excellent location

The rooms were comfortable but very small. It was tight to move around in.  The one elevator was not working.  The towels were small.  The robes were nice.  The breakfast was an expected price but limited.  The hotel was an excellent location.

Nice location

Such a great hotel,  very clean, very easy to find,  great staff.  Funny end staff was great in recommending bars and restaurants and their knowledge of all things Boston.  The room was impeccable , i can't imagine dusting anywhere else!

Best Boston find

Perfect location for a family vacation in Boston -  it was walking distance to all the locations we visited (Freedom Trail, New England Aquarium, Tea Party Museum).  The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful!

I can't believe the location of this hotel, like 30 seconds away from the State T stop, 3 minutes away from Gov't center T stop, around 7 minutes to Downtown Crossing, and a 10 minute walk away to SOuth Station, the most central location ever!!

Best location in Boston

Excellent location, every staff member was friendly and helpful. Our particular room was spacious with large windows and well-stocked supplies. Parking was expensive but typical for city center. Would definitely stay again.

Family summer vacation

I was looking to surprise my wife with a trip to Boston for the Independence Day celebrations. I was looking for a hotel that would be centrally located to all the events. It also needed to have a reputation for cleanliness and service. I went with the Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall and it was perfect! Customer Service was friendly and efficient. Our room (standard king) was not very large but based on my research, it was typical for rooms in a city like Boston. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. It was perfect for the two of us. I’m looking forward to my next trip!

Nailed it!

Trouble free late check in, clean rooms, good house keeping and the internet is fast enough to host a web conference. Staff were friendly. I had breakfast there for one morning of my stay it was good just the portions were too big for me personally

Overall a good hotel for business

My stay was not the best. Yes the hotel has basic amenities, however, they don’t offer some of the offerings that are available at other hotels that are close by. For example, they don’t have vending machines or self check out snack areas. They don’t offer food before 7:00 AM nor do they offer a coffee before 7:00 AM. The rooms are much smaller than any other Hyatt centric that I’ve stayed in other cities.

First time at the Hyatt Centric in Boston

The hotel is very close to Faneuil Hall, which offers a lot of food options. The Freedom Trail is passing by almost in front of the hotel. The room has all the needed amenities. Would stay there again.

Great location

Perfect location to all the freedom trail attractions and walking distance to lots of great food. The hotel was clean and in great condition.  The beds were very comfortable with big down pillows. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Boston 

Great property Great location

The property is excellent and the staff is top notch.  The location is tucked away in the city center - easy access to so many sites / activities.  Highly recommend the property, I also had a great experience with World of Hyatt, finding it a better points value than other reward programs.

Great stay in the heart of Boston

The Hyatt Centric is in an excellent location for sightseeing.  We were within walking distance of most everything we wanted to see. The hotel was vey clean.  The best aspect of the hotel was the staff. Everyone working at the hotel was extremely helpful and kind.  Everything about our stay was exceptional. 

Highly Recommend

This was the perfect spot for a few days away. We were right in the middle of where I wanted to be, 10 minute walk to the North End, close to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market and our bus tour even picked us up only a few steps from the front door. My room had 2 double beds and was quite large. They even brought a desk for my husband as it was a working trip for him (while me and my daughter toured Boston). Drinks in the bar were great and the bartender was funny and personable. This was also a special birthday trip for my daughter and the hotel went the extra mile for her birthday. I am quite happy with the stay and would absolutely stay here again when visiting Boston.

Perfect Location and Wonderful Staff

Clean, nice and great location.  Make sure you do not need to change your reservation.  I had to adjust from 3 nights to 2 nights due to meeting changes and they required $100.00 more per night ($599. increased to $699. per night) for the remaining 2 nights. I travel about 48 times per year and I have never had this experience when adjusting a reservation. Due to business travel meeting changes, I will most likely use another property in the future.  

Staff was friendly and helpful from check-in through check out. I would highly recommend this location as long as you are confident that your plans will not change. 

Breakfast restaurant opens at 7 (but opened late) and had 1 person on staff and slow service  If you have meetings, choose another breakfast location.  

Beautiful property in the heart of Boston

My experience was excellent in every aspect- cleanliness, hospitality, knowledge and helpfulness from staff, and efficiency of food staff. Overall experience was a delight and I would not hesitate to recommend the Hyatt to family and friends. 

Excellent stay!!

Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel, and would stay here again. The location is convenient for sightseeing and getting around the city, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was firm and the shower was great. Our room was small -- which we expected in a downtown hotel -- but located in a corner of the building, so included a large support column in the middle of the room; when the humongous TV was pulled out from the side wall you literally could not walk across the room! We also came home with shins bruised from bumping into the corner of the bed platform as we attempted to navigate around the room. Our fault for not asking for a different room; I'm sure the front desk would have obliged.

Clean and convenient; pick your room carefully

Great location, convenient to sites and public transit (T and Amtrak) but very noisy. Garbage trucks at 5am, construction at 6:30am so don't plan on sleeping in.  Asked for a quieter room after one night and was refused, making for an uncomfortable 4 night stay. Rooms are tiny with minimal hanging space for clothes, jackets, and towels (only one towel hook in the bathroom). It's fine for one person but cramped for two. Room was very clean and looked like it had recently been modernized.

Convenient but noisy location

Very well located and helpful staff at the hotel. They were proactive, rooms were clean. The location is the best part as it was very close to work and the key Boston spots making it very easy to step out and back.

Convenience with comfort

The Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall is a wonderful property.  It is conveniently located to visit sites in Boston, close to airport.  The beds are comfy, restaurant and bar are great!  Will definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel, Great Location - walk to everything

The Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall is a very nice hotel located in the downtown area of Boston.  It was perfect for our stay to attend the Boston Marathon.  The hotel’s location is close to bakeries/coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, drug stores, public transit stations and all the other amenities you’re likely to need during your stay.  The hotel is also within easy walking distance to Boston Common, TD Gardens, Chinatown, the Italian restaurant district, the waterfront and many of the historical attractions. 
 
Check-in and check-out was painless and fast.  Our deluxe double room was relatively spacious with a flat-screen TV, good Wi-Fi and 2 comfortable beds.  We requested daily housekeeping and the housekeeping staff were friendly and did a very good job looking after our room.


Very good hotel with excellent location for visiting Boston

If you are looking for a nice small Hotel near Faneuil Hall, and you don't need large rooms, this is a great fit. Friendly staff, decent food options, and everything clean and working as expected. One of the best options in the area

Nice small Hotel

The hotel property is in close proximity to Faneuil Hall, restaurant, shopping and historical sites.

Unfortunately the hotel is not offering room service.  The restaurant on the first floor has a relatively small menu.

Hotel Near Faneuil Hall

I recently stayed at the property with my 5-year old. To say the staff is incredible is a gross understatement. Every single person we encountered made us feel at home. I had one bad night's sleep and the staff went out and bought a feathertop mattress for the bed. What hotel do you know that would do this?? I didn't ask for it but they still went above and beyond to make our stay better than we could have imagined. Stephen at the front desk became my son's favorite person in Boston. In addition to the amazing employees, the hotel is clean and the location cannot be beat. Stay here!

Best hotel in Boston

Overall, I was very impressed with this Hyatt. Our sleeping room was compact but clean and modern. Loved the ChromeCast feature of the TV. Staff was friendly and responsive. I would return in a heartbeat! 

Modern and Clean!

Stayed here for 2 nights for business. The location didn't disappoint with excellent staff and a nice restaurant onsite. Close to everything. 

Clean and spacious rooms; the only oddity is the small shower. If you're a larger individual.... perhaps leave the door open to maneuver? It's SMALL.  Didn't take away from my visit but may make a difference for someone else booking. No refrigerator, but they bring one right away if needed free of charge. Loved the closet that artfully held ironing necessities. 

I would absolutely stay here again when back in the area. 

Pleasant Business Stay

the room was small, beds very comfortable. I was traveling with a young colleague who was slightly shy about the fact that the door to the bathroom was barn door style and had a gap. it wasn't a big issue, but odd. my favorite thing about the hotel was its proximity to the event we were attending; which mattered because we were short on time & it was cold & windy. i've stayed in much more luxurious hotels in Boston for this price...

Customer Service was Exceptional from Front Desk and Valet.  Food Was Yummy.  I thought I had booked a double, but the single was OK.  Had Great views.  It was smaller but comfortable and adequate for my 1-night purpose.  Love the bathroom amenities.  Would stay again. 

Great 1 Night Stay

Great hotel with great staff and great location. Only downside was the staff at bar ciccheti took way too long to prepare breakfast and still got some of our orders wrong. Rooms were small but clean and modern. Would stay again but get breakfast elsewhere. 

This was my boyfriend and I’d second time staying at this hotel and we love it! The location is amazing, being about a 20 minute walk from TD Garden and the North End restaurants and only steps away from Quincy Market. The last time we visited the espresso bar and the hotel restaurant was not available. This time around we got coffee from the espresso bar and the service and coffee was great. We also hung out at the hotel bar a couple times and had great service both times and the drinks were fantastic! 

Outstanding!

Staff are outstanding, the location to walk Boston is excellent and for a small space the property is great. The on-site restaurant/bar has excellent food and service as well! Highly recommend this hotel!!

Excellent location, accommodations and staff!

Staff is very friendly, efficient and does their utmost to make sure your stay is pleasant. Rooms are very clean and perfect size. Hotel is in a great location downtown and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping stores.

Great hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms

I loved so much about this hotel. First off the location is excellent. It is so close to State Station. Walking distance to food, shopping, bars, and the Freedom Trail. My room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms that I have ever been in. It was not a large room but it was efficiently laid out and did not feel cramped at all. The shower was on the small size but big enough for me. The water pressure was fine and heated right up. The staff was quick to respond to every question and request that I had. A requested refrigerator was brought up within 15 minutes of checking in. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean safe place to stay. 

Excellent

Everything about the hotel was perfect:  very clean, quiet room and great customer service.  The location can’t be beat.  You can easily walk to the North End, Faneuil Hall, Aquarium.  Subway stations are close as well.  I would definitely stay here again!

Great experience

Breakfast served in lobby. Started at 7 AM (what about business travelers) but actually started later because they couldn't get their act together. Nobody came by to remove my trash bin over 2 days even though I had a 10 day stay booked. No upgrades or acknowledgment of globalist status. No room cleanings on a long stay. No upgrades. 

Came here for a conference + a weekend, this was the worst part of the experience.

Is this even a Hyatt?

Great location, easy walk to lots of great restaurants, activities and the train station is basically across the street. Made it very easy to go to airport A wonderful facility. Very friendly and helpful staff  in all areas. Housekeeping, front desk and bartenders. 

I booked a room with World of Hyatt points on the afternoon of arrival. I spoke to the front desk when I was 30 minutes away from arrival. At this time, picketers were outside the hotel blocking the only entrance and the valet (no self parking). I was not made aware of any of this. Upon our arrival, it was impossible to enter the hotel due to the picketers. We had two small children with us. We called the front desk again if there was another entrance we could use. They said no and they said to "push through the line." We again stated that this was not safe for our children. Our plan prior to arrival was to check into our room and park our car before attending an event in downtown Boston. Because this was not possible, we had to go straight to the event and pay for parking there ($60). I called the hotel again, and asked them to please cancel our reservation for the evening, given these unexpected events. They refused to do so without charging one night's fee. As a reminder I paid for the room with points. They said they would return the points and charge me the nightly rate, which was over $400. Does this sound reasonable?  I asked the front desk agent to please speak to the manager, who would not get on the phone. He did so and came back with the same response.  They told me they did not know the picketers were coming that night or else they would have warned their guests. I reminded them that I spoke to them 30 minutes prior to arrival (when the picketers were there) and they failed to warn me then. They said the picketers were leaving for the night. Now I ask you, If the hotel was not aware they were coming that night, then how could they possibly know if they were coming back? We were forced to keep the reservation or pay $400. In addition, we also had to pay parking at the hotel after paying to park our car at the event (another $60). 
I work in the hotel industry, booking groups into hotels for meetings and conferences.I am well aware that the manager could have easily canceled our room for the evening without penalty. Given that the room was paid for with points, the conversion in revenue that the hotel received for our room was minimal for that one night. 
At this point, I sincerely question the directive that Hyatt hotel managers and ownership are given to take care of their guests in extraordinary circumstances. I would never recommend this hotel to my clients based on my experience there.

Beware of Picketers striking against Hyatt

Great location , clean rooms , very efficient and friendly staff , just steps to the state house and T stop , The price of the room was very competitive to neighboring hotels. Well worth every penny . 

Perfect Location , Very-courteous staff

We previously stayed at the downtown Hyatt Regency in downtown Boston during our vacation in August where our experience was terrific. This recent trip was business related so I had to be a little more thrifty. The hotel has an excellent location and the beds are comfy. But the rooms are small, no chairs to sit in the room after a long business day. The showers water flow were set to a trickle. 

Perhaps what one should expect

When I visited they were experiencing a hot water problem so that impacted my overall score. Location was great, food in their restaurant was very good and service was also very good. Would stay again if there was a hot water guarantee. 

Hyatt Centric Faneuil

Improperly trained staff that gave no directions at all when fire alarm went off and fire department had to come.  Small room crowded with too large of a bed and TV for the space, without any work desk.

If you want one of the best locations in downtown Boston look no further then the Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall. Walking distance to all major attractions and areas is only overshadowed by the amazing service we received from our arrival to our departure. Thank you Hyatt Centric for making this a fun weekend and a home away from home!

Great location & Superb Service!

This hotel was in an absolute perfect location! It’s located steps away from
The old meeting house off of the freedom trail, making it very easy to get around to some of the key sights! We also were a quick 20 walk to the North End and 25 minute walk fromTD stadium, which was great so a hockey game and for taking the train to get into Salem. If you’re not worried about having a lot of space to move around and lounge in your hotel room and are in Boston to experience this city, this is a perfect spot!

Perfect location

The location is great. The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was tiny and the design of the bath placed the shower stall on the outside of the sliding privacy door for the toilet. This means you cannot have another friend, or guest in the room while someone in your party is showering. Since we had 6 people traveling with our group staying in 3 different rooms, it meant that when someone showered, everyone had to relocate to a different room. Another disappointment was the $8 charge for the bottle of water in the room. I think for the cost of the room, water bottles should be included. Honestly, we all know that water bottle did not cost $8, so charging that price for it is absurd.

Plus and Minus

I recommend staying here, it’s centrally located to everything and it’s very comfortable. The staff was helpful and accommodating to our needs. Plus it’s the halfway point of the Freedom Trail. Enjoy. 

Boston Vacation

Great location, very clean, allowed us to check in early and check out late. the room had everything we needed. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay great! I would highly recommend this Hyatt!

Great place to stay!

This hotel is still following covid protocols for housekeeping - they do not make up the rooms.  The restaurant is extremely slow and the breakfasts were cold both days.  the room we had was in the front corner of the hotel and had a very strange layout and oddly placed column.  Another family we were with had an ADA compliant room which was very nice.  That was the highlight since that family needed those facilities.

Not what I expect a Hyatt to be

It’s a very nice hotel with an excellent location to explore and discover Boston. Our room was small but clean and offered everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We can recommend it!

I had a chance to try either Regency or Centric using the same number of points. I chose Centric for some reviews I saw for its cleanliness but as Globalist, I was hoping to get upgrade to larger room but they simply don’t have one. 

Too small for comfort

$800/night for room with plastic cups, tiny shower, lukewarm water. Valet parking $60/ night. No ability to purchase basic supplies. Location is great and they are milking that. Not a good look for Hyatt

Overpriced poor amenities great location

Our room was so small. We had this huge structure pole right in the middle of the room. Couldn’t watch Tv, couldn’t walk around it, no drawers to unpack clothes. They gave us 1-wash cloth, they didn’t clean our room after the first day. 
Someone in rooms beside us was smoking marijuana, I told the front desk twice and all they did was spray some air freshener that made it worse. Our clothes smell awful we were leaving for a cruise and no way to clean our clothes. Don’t stay here!!!

the hotel was great and location but there was so much construction.  It was hard to sleep.
the best thing was the location .... it was really close to everything that you would want to see in Boston.

Boston Labour Day Visit 2022

Good location; however, the beds were broken down (back aches in the morning) and loud constant construction noise across the street went on until 1:30 in the morning - not much sleep time. One of the staff was not professional when I complained about the noise.

Hyatt Centric is the perfect place to call home if you're looking for a place near all the historical sites, pubs, Quincy Market, lots of coffee shops and the T-line. Super clean, cool, and friendly..

Close walking distance to everything!

Is it convenient? Yes. The bar and restaurant and people who run it made our trip! But for $350 a night for a “city view” we got the side of an office building and an ally way on the 5th floor. The room was clean. Would not stay again; better options.

Underwhelmed

The blinds were broken, the cooling drawer didn’t cool, there is one ice maker for the whole hotel and it was broken so we had to go to the bar for ice, and the coffee is terrible. The worst feature is that the rooms feature FULL SIZED beds vs. queens. If you plan to share bed with anyone, reconsider your booking. We were very disappointed we paid over $1000 for two nights for our experience. Good location though! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Very poor experience. Run down hotel many broken features

The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.  Not very well marked outside so a bit hard to locate. They told me before I booked the reservation that a gift card I had would be accepted but when I arrived they told me they would not accept it.

Stay at Hyatt

For the rate of these hotel rooms, you'd think they'd have a real refrigerator in the room, not what amounts to a Playskool unit with a note inside that says, "If you'd like to chill anything, please contact the front desk between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. and we'll locate a fridge for you." Too bad for folks who have medication to keep cold and who check in after 10 p.m. Would give five points if not for this ridiculous point.

Fake fridge? What's next, a fake bed?

This was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in! I'm a frequent business traveler who has racked up about 2 million hotel points, so I've literally stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms. I think this hotel is a converted office building and my room might have been the size of a room they kept the copy machine in.

 Here are true statements about my room... 

1)  I was staying in the hotel after coming off a cruise. My cruise ship cabin was larger than this room

2)  The toilet area of the bathroom is the roughly the same size as a bathroom on a plane (except with a higher ceiling).

3)  On one side of the bed, I had to turn sideways to walk along the bed.

4)  If my wife and I wanted to walk to the other side of the room, one of us had to stand by the room door or go into the bathroom so the other one could pass by.

There are many great hotels in Boston. This is not one of them.

Much Better Hotels In Boston - Don't stay Here

Nothing beats this location, everything is within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and attended to every request we had, and Kevin the manager even upgraded our room because we asked for a high floor and they didn't have the exact type of room. Also, Peter the trainee wouldn"t stop smiling - and that certainly brightened our visit!

Excelent location and very nice hotel

This hotel had the best location to be able to Easily access all the touring we wanted to do.  Large rooms, clean hotel.  The only thing missing was included breakfast and a pool, but will happily go without for how perfectly located it was.

Best Location

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms, and a great location at a reasonable price.  As with many city-center hotels, rooms were a bit small, but quiet and very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast is fine, although I would recommend finding breakfast elsewhere, which is no hardship in a city like Boston.

Excellent Value in a Centrally Located Hotel

The Hyatt Centric is in an excellent location, directly across the street from a T station, and easy walk to Fanueil Hall and Long Wharf, and right on the Freedom Trail.  Rooms are a little small, but that is to be expected in this part of town.  The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was very friendly.

We arrived in Boston a little early and the front desk was more than happy to hold our bags while we went and grabbed coffee in the North End while waiting for our room to be ready.  Once in our room it was very clean and updated,  The beds were so comfortable after a hot day waling around the city!

Great location & Friendly Staff in the Heart of Boston

Clean, Convenient, Comfortable Hotel, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction! Kudos to management for hiring proactive, engaging staff members. The staff clearly cares about its hotel guests. Tom at the front desk is an absolute asset to this hotel and Hyatt brand. The hotel is located near everything! Blue “T” stop is 50 feet (15 seconds walking) from hotel front door. From Logan Boston Airport, use free shuttle bus to Blue “airport” T station and take T on Blue line heading west to hotel (3 stops) for $2.40 per person. It’s very easy and convenient! Uber/Lyft wanted $40+ each way.

Outstanding Stay in Boston! MUST READ

Loved this hotel. First time to Boston and this hotel was in the perfect spot to walk to all of the good spots and historical places. Tons of great places to eat are all around and the harbor is a 10-15 min walk away. The rooms were nice and bed was comfortable. Staff was amazing and so helpful with recommendations. I would definitely stay again.

Like others have said, the rooms are on the smaller side but that's to be expected in any major city and it was no problem for my stay, including when I had my dog's crate taking up a good portion of the floor space. The location of the hotel was perfect, so close to everything I wanted to see in my one night stay.

The staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. My boyfriend was experiencing car troubles with 10 minutes until check out and I was alone with my dog who was afraid of the elevator. I ran down to ask for help and since both valet's were out getting cars, one of the women from the front desk helped bring up a luggage cart and held it for me in the lobby while I took 12 flights of stairs down with the dog. Everyone was so friendly and understanding of the difficult situation, it was enough to make me want to stay here anytime I return to Boston, especially if my dog is with me.

Very welcoming staff

This Hotel is located in the perfect place to explore Boston.  The service, the front des , everyone I came in contact with was outstanding in their kindness and helpfulness. 

They have just opened up a restaurant attached to the hotel and it was great!  Service was spot on and the food was very good.  I highly recommend the restaurant.

Hyatt Boston stay was excellent. The Faneuil Hall Hyatt is a a great location with easy parking . Easy walk to North End and water front. Very comfortable rooms. If you are coming to Boston this a perfect place to stay

Boston Hyatt stay

We stayed here one night to meet friends in Boston. Hotel was clean & great location. Very friendly, they let us check in at 2:00 since a room was ready. Which was great. Room was great. Yes shower was a bit small and right in the room and toilet was separated by a sliding barn door. Light in the toilet room was weird. Worked at night but not during the day. Maybe some trick to it. Small fridge drawer & robes. They had valet parking,  but from other reviews we prepaid hotel parking at the Pi alley garage the next street over for only $24 overnight. We just crossed the street and went through a brick pathway and the hotel was right there. Great location right near Quincy market and only 5-10 minute walk to north end restaurants. Hotels looked more spread out online but they were much closer in person. We also walked to Flour bakery (15 minute walk) & had the best sticky buns. I would stay again but book earlier for a better price. 

One night stay, clean good location

This is a beautiful hotel centrally located to most everything. We could walk to the North End, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, the Harbor and Aquarium, and Seaport. Our second trip in a year and we'll be back in 2023.
