Hotel Policies

Pet Policy

We’re delighted to have you and your dog as our guests. To ensure a comfortable stay for you and fellow guests, please observe the following guidelines:

  • The hotel can accommodate dogs weighing under 66lbs (30kg) in a guest room, provided the dog is fully trained, appropriately restrained by you (the owner) and complies with hotel requirements.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash when on the property unless in your room. Please do not leave your dog unattended.
  • We regret that dogs are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, the spa/fitness center or pool areas of the property. This exclusion does not apply to service dogs.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs on the property and in the neighborhood.
  • Any disturbances, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • Please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange a convenient time to service your room as no attempt may be made to enter if a dog is in the room unless the owner is present. The guest (dog owner) should leave with dog when it is being cleaned.
  • Cleaning litter boxes will be the guest’s responsibility. Please let us know if you require any supplies.
  • Caring for your dog is the guest’s responsibility.
  • The guest agrees to be responsible for all property damages and any personal injuries resulting from their dog.
  • If your dog breaks or damages any of hotel items, Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula reserves the right to charge your account commensurate with the cost of such damages.
