Resort Fee
At Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro, hotel policies include a daily resort fee of BRL 85 per room, which provides the following services and amenities to enhance the guest experience. In this resort, located between beautiful mountains and white-sand beaches, you will find a wide range of leisure activities available every day of the year:

- Gastronomy workshops and other special activities (check the daily schedule on the “Activities” page)
- One complimentary hour of bicycle rental per guest, per day
- Beach service with sunbeds, parasols and towels
- Pool services with flavored water, sunbeds, umbrellas and towels
- One welcome drink at Restaurante Cantô Gastrô & Lounge per guest, per stay
- Access to the fitness center
- Access to the Kids Club and children’s recreation
- Ferry trip twice a week

Pet Policy

Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro accepts small dogs Check out the hotel's policies regarding your four-legged companion.Guests may bring one dog weighing up to 22 kg or two dogs weighing up to 30 kg combined per room. A fee of R$120 per night will be charged, plus a heavy cleaning fee of R$350 to R$500 reais, if necessary. It is recommended that the dog sleeps in the bed provided especially for him. Guests with dogs will receive this bed upon arrival.
RULES:
1. Your dog's current vaccination record is required at check-in.
2. Do not leave your dog unattended in the room.
3. Dogs are allowed in the rooms, lobby, hallways and restricted outdoor areas of the Tano and Cantô restaurants, as long as they are on a leash. Dogs may be on leashes in common areas, such as the lobby, the exclusive corridors of the floor where they are staying, the elevators, etc., but they may not remain in these areas.
4. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area, the Grand Club, the event and meeting rooms, the Atiaia Spa, the gym and the Marapendi Lounge.
5. Clean up all dirt and debris left by the dog on the hotel premises. If an area outside the room needs cleaning, inform the nearest employee.
6. Take care of the dog so that it does not hurt itself or others. It is the guest's responsibility to prevent the animal from making noise, disturbing or hurting any guest or employee.
7. Prevent the dog from defecating or urinating on the hotel premises. Any damage to the hotel premises or property is the sole responsibility of the animal's owner.
8. You may not leave the dog in the room while the housekeeping team is cleaning. Your dog must be trained. 9. Please keep your dog on a leash in public areas and ensure that his/her paws are clean before entering the building. Failure to comply with any of the above guidelines and rules may result in your being denied check-in or being asked to check-out. It is recommended that your pet sleep in a bed provided specifically for him/her. Guests with pets will be provided with this bed upon arrival.
Laws and Regulations
Our rooms and environments have smoke alarms throughout and, according to State Law 5.517 of August 17, 2009, smoking inside rooms, restaurants or areas with smoke alarms is not allowed. Subject to fine applied at the discretion of the hotel.
According to Federal Law 8.069 of July 13, 1990 and article 82 of the Child and Adolescent Statute and State Law 6,273 of June 28, 2012, it is not permitted and is characterized as a crime to accommodate a child or adolescent in a hotel, motel, inn, boarding house or similar
establishment unless authorized or accompanied by parents or guardians or with express permission from the judicial authority.
Federal Law No. 11,126 of 06/27/05 and Municipal Law 5,737 of 04/25/14 ensure the right of visually impaired guests to access and use public spaces with or without the assistance of a guide dog.
