Excellent first time Muscat experience for family
My family, including four young children had an excellent day at the Grand Hyatt Muscat. The remodeled pool area with the Children’s pool, splash pad, and lazy river is fantastic. The hotel is situated on a public beach and there was convenient access to the beach, which was also fun for our children. There was no nuisance from it being adjacent to a public beach and walkway. In fact, it was nice to walk out along the path and down to several restaurants at a nearby complex. We called ahead and were able to get adjoining rooms for our family of six. The buffet in the lobby restaurant was a great value and a great experience every morning. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally attentive and great throughout our hotel stay. The club access during the day and for evening cocktail hour was an excellent perk (although it should be noted that children under 12 are not allowed in the club/lounge during cocktail hour 6 to 8 PM). The location of the hotel is quite convenient for the city. We were able to easily drive to some nearby, museums and attractions. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Staff went above and beyond. Helpful professional. Room was spacious had balcony bonus. Beach was beautiful real exposure to Omani culture

Worth the wait of vacation
The hotel itself and their staffs are very accommodating and we were welcomed warmly. Our 2N3D stay was phenomenal and we had so much fun. Miss Aya, Sir JR, Miss Zuwaina, and other bell boy staffs and housekeeping accommodates our needs accordingly. Value for Money during our stay was very affordable and the amenities of the hotel were great and we enjoyed every corners of it. Till next time of staycation. God bless

A Relaxing Stay with Friendly Staff
Nice hotel, comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would happily stay here again.

Great stay
Great stay at the hotel. The staff were excellent, from m check in to departure. Friendly and helpful. Lovely room, very spacious. Everything was clean. Amazing gym and beautiful pool. Had a delicious meal at Tuscany restaurant too.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff
The Grand Hyatt is a beautiful hotel - when you walk in you're met with high ceilings, impressive giant stained-glass windows overlooking the pool, a statue of a horseman holding a falcon... it's traditional and comfortable. It's also family friendly - the pool is a good size with a lazy river around the outside and there's a separate child's pool, plus water fountains and a wooden ship for climbing. The staff and service were absolutely brilliant - extremely helpful, kind with our baby, engaged and a pleasure to interact with.

Nice ventage property with great potential
Nice vintage property with great potential, though it currently requires significant upkeep and renovation efforts, which were ongoing during my stay. The location is excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout. The property is also home to the excellent Italian restaurant, Tuscany, which is definitely worth a visit. I believe the best time to stay would be after the renovation work on the other bars and restaurants is fully completed, as the property will likely offer an even better overall experience then.

Great hotel!
Great hotel. The lobby is beautiful The food is delicious: they have different restaurant choices which is great and a bar - Yannick the bar manager is simply awesome! To be fair, all the staff is super lovely and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the balcony with view of the pool and sea are great. Highly recommended !

Muscat Half Term fun
Great location, facilities and service. Staff very helpful. Food quality very good. Could do with some more sun lounges as very busy on some days. Although with the beach just across the hotel, that wasnt a problem

Highly recommend- couldn't have been better!
Amazing in every way. This is one of the most relaxing stays we have ever had. The seafood buffet on Thursday nights as well as Omani buffet are not to be missed.... and the hot tub was so welcome each evening. Highly recommend!

Pathetic staff and specialy manager who tells his bouncers to stop male members and ask females to join dance with him.
To my worst experience with such big brand just because of the people working there. They actually fooled us around by allocating rooms right in front of a paid party where they didn't even bother to inform us before and don't even let us walk around the room,stopped us by bouncers and later asking females of the family to join for dance when clock hitted 12.worst manager who stops guests to walk around and asking their ladies to join for a dance.

Our New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner was a ticketed event with limited capacity. Entry was therefore restricted to guests holding valid passes, and our security team acted in line with hotel policy. The same procedure was applied consistently to all guests. We want to clarify that no guest was treated differently based on gender, nor were any inappropriate actions taken by our staff. Access control was managed solely to ensure fairness, safety, and the comfort of guests attending the paid event. Magical stay at Grand Hyatt Muscat – unforgettable memories for our son, warm staff, beautiful hotel experience.
Our stay at Grand Hyatt Muscat was a wonderful and memorable experience. While the breakfast variety was limited and not very child-friendly, our 4-year-old son had an unforgettable time. He was overjoyed to find a separate bed prepared for him, spent hours dancing on the balcony during a wedding, and enjoyed the children’s play area and pool, even though the water was colder than other pools. The staff were warm and welcoming, and receiving our room earlier than the official check-in made us feel cared for. Despite minor inconveniences like construction noise and limited snacks, we focused on creating happy memories for our son, and he left the hotel full of joy and wonder. We sincerely hope to return to this beautiful and calm hotel to make more cherished memories and keep the light of happiness and hope alive in his heart.

Classic Hyatt experience
If you love oldies nostalgic traditional atmosphere and outlook this is the hotel for you! Despite being dated i really appreciate the classic touches of the facilities and it is built like castle-like design. The service staff during breakfast was helpful and engaging. Check in was also very smooth and fast. All in all great stay and good value for money

Excellent service and hard working staff ensuring that guest had a great experience.
Very good value compared to their competitors & Partha in club access provided great service, was very friendly, skilled in his profession. Nuwanga Deepal the head chef was amazing, food is amazing as always. April & Abdullah were great at providing excellent breakfast service & Rahim in cleaning was excellent in ensuring clean room.
