Hygiene and Safety
Providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests and colleagues is always top priority for Hyatt Regency Reston – even more so today. Below you will find a list of modifications that have been made to our amenities and outlets to ensure a healthy environment in accordance with the Governor of Virginia’s Executive Orders
Updated Safety Procedures
MOBILE CHECK-IN AND KEYLESS ENTRY
Utilization of the World of Hyatt app: check-in, access room, and receive your final bill without contact - all from your mobile phone
CLEANING ENHANCEMENTS
Guest rooms will be cleaned using ECOLAB SYSTEM and products recommended and approved by CDC that kill novel corona virus while safe for our guests and staff
LOBBY
Plexiglass added at front desk with no-contact payment stations. Employees will be required to wear protective masks and gloves during their time on-site.
HAND SANITIZER STATIONS
Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers placed throughout common areas
HOUSEKEEPING
Based on length of stay, we will offer modified housekeeping frequency, replenishing of linens and in-room dining delivery. All staff will be required to wear the proper PPE before entering a guest room.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Floor decals and signage have been added in common areas to remind guests of social distancing requirements
REMOVE ALL NON –ESSENTIAL ITEMS FROM ROOMS
Removing non-essential high-touch items such as Magazines, note pads, pens, etc.
EVENT SPACE
Social Distance meeting room sets where possible: Increased number of hand sanitizer stations in event venues and public spaces, along with increase sanitization and cleaning of high contact areas: Virtual meeting capabilities provided in partnership with AV.
EVENT FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE
Replace Buffets with plated covered options, when possible: If providing buffet service, hotel colleagues must serve food from the buffet with gloved hands eliminating self-service: Utilize sneeze guards on all buffets: All buffets to have server attendants with proper PPE
Other Amenity and Activity Modifications
Airport Shuttle Service
Airport shuttle service to IAD will be suspended until further notice
Valet / Arrival
Valet service will be temporarily suspended. The front drive will be designated as a guest drop off for unpacking vehicles and sanitized bell carts will be available for guest’s use. The front drive will also be available for ADA assistance. Covered parking in attached garage will be available for a fee.
Restaurant
Our restaurant is currently open daily from 6:30am-10:00pm. In-Room Delivery, Carry Out and Dine-In options are all available. Breakfast will be available from 6:30am-11:00am. Lunch is available from 11:00am-4:00pm. Dinner is available from 4:00pm -10:00pm. Please dial “54’ to place an order. There remains an array of open dining options with in Reston Town Center as well.
Fitness Center & Pool
The One to One Fitness Center and Pool are currently open. For the protection of our guests, we have implemented numerous safety protocols. Limited equipment will be available to ensure proper social distancing along with marked exercise zones. In addition, hand sanitation dispensers and disinfecting wipes will be placed throughout the facilities. Due to safety concerns related to the spread of COVID, we kindly ask that you bring your guest room towel(s) to the pool. Please note that the hot tub will remain closed for now.
