Udvar-Hazy Center

Located at only ten miles from our hotel, the Udvar-Hazy Center – National Air and Space Museum features an incredible collection of air and space artifacts, aircraft, and spacecraft. Daily tours, programs, and interactive activities are available daily from 10:00am to 5:30pm.

Reston Zoo

The Reston Zoo is a 30 acre family friendly zoo located in Fairfax County. Kids will enjoy seeing exotic animals, taking wagon rides, the petting barn, a free-flight aviary, and reptile house. The zoo closes for the winter from December thru mid-March.

Parks and Recreation

Bull Run Regional Park

Explore scenic woodlands and miles of trails in nearby Centreville. A seasonal outdoor pool, disc golf, and a public shooting center with sporting clays, skeet, trap, wobble trap and indoor archery are also available.

Chesapeake and Ohio (C & O) Canal

Cycle or hike part of the 184.5-mile path of the canal which was an active transportation route from 1829 to 1924. Many original locks and aqueducts remain.

Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens
