1886 Café & Bakery
Step into this quaint Victorian-style café, and within moments you’ll feel right at home on Austin’s 6th Street. Beautiful stained-glass doors, a charming window into the bake shop, and an emerald wall add one-of-a-kind touches to this old-fashioned eatery at The Driskill. The menu is full of down-home Texas comfort foods, time-honored recipes, such as Helen Corbitt’s Cheese Soup, and fresh baked pastries and cakes. Try our 1886 Café & Bakery for all day breakfast and lunch, and dine on dishes such as the Texas-Shaped Pecan Waffle, Brazos Huevos Rancheros, our famous Hangover Burger, or Austin Hot Fried Chicken.
