AluaSun Lago Rojo welcomes dogs under 22 lbs/10 kg in its Junior Suites and facilities. This service is available for €8.5/night/dog in the required room category. Please contact the hotel directly to confirm the room category required. To book a room with a dog, please contact the reservations department at reservations.aulgr@aluahotels.com. It is necessary to check availability and contact the reservations department in advance.

Dog-friendly rooms include the following:

  • Dog bed (on request)
  • Bowls for food and water (on request)

Terms and Conditions:

  • AluaSun Lago Rojo's dog policy allows dogs under 10 kg for € 8.5/night, only in Junior Suites.
  • Check with your airline for information on travelling with pets, including TSA and safety guidelines.
  • Maximum 2 pets per room.
  • The following details are required at the time of check-in:
  • The pet can only be in designated areas within the hotel facilities. Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Dogs are allowed on the terraces of the restaurant and bars on the property
  • The dog must be on a leash at all times, or in a pet bag when not in the room. Guests will be responsible for cleaning up after their pet within the property's facilities, and disposing of waste in designated areas.
  • Dogs cannot be left alone in the rooms for more than two hours. Guest must notify the front desk and hang the "Dog Friendly Room" door hanger when leaving their dog unattended in the room. The guest must answer their mobile phone while their dog is unattended in case there is a problem.
  • Dogs should never be left alone at night. Please contact the concierge if you need lodging recommendations.
  • Housekeeping services will not be performed unless the guest is present. The dog's owner must be in the room if the dog is present when the guest's room is being cleaned, so as not to frighten the pet and avoid the risk of them escaping. Please contact the concierge to schedule an appropriate time for the housekeeping service.
  • The resort reserves the right to deny access to the dog if the above guidelines are not met.
  • Dog's name, weight, age, colour, and breed for identification purposes during your stay
  • Evidence of ongoing flea and tick treatment
