Overview

We believe in being environmentally conscious in every aspect of our hotel, and to underscore our commitment, we have implemented significant “greening” initiatives. To underscore our commitment, we have implemented significant initiatives involving carbon emissions, energy and water use, waste, and recycling that we track through Hyatt EcoTrack. Sustainability and green efforts are pillars that guide us in how we operate and inspire our guests.

Carbon Emissions and Water

We have enacted many energy efficiency efforts across our hotel. We use high efficiency LED lighting throughout guest rooms and the hotel and an effective schedule for heating and cooling. Through our Conserve Program, we are reducing energy and water consumption by offering guests the choice to reuse their towels or linens. Our water saving efforts are in place for guest rooms, including bathroom faucets and toilets, in our public area faucets, and in our Production Kitchen equipment.

Waste and Circularity

Waste and Circularity

Our Restaurant and Bar prohibits the use of plastic straws. Paper straws are offered to guests upon request. For meetings and events, hydration stations are standard offerings to avoid disposable water bottles. The digital Planner Portal helps reduce the need to print. Kitchen waste is repurposed into fertilizer through a food waste program. Digital key is available through the World of Hyatt app to reduce the number of plastic keycards issued. Hyatt applications and supporting digital signage help to enable paperless meetings.

Our Food Philosophy

Our Food Philosophy

Our philosophy: Hyatt's Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served.

This is how we select ingredients that are better for our guests, communities, and the planet.  We purchase from responsible sources for ingredients such as seafood, cage-free eggs, and beef, that are all-natural and grass-fed. We also believe plant-based is a journey, not an option. We offer plant forward menu items in our restaurants and events.
