The Dining Room

Conceived as a warm, comforting space in line with the residential ambience of the hotel, The Dining Room has subtle hues interspersed with vibrant bursts of crimson. Its floor to ceiling glass windows offer unhindered views of the serene lily-pond.

A beautiful open-style pantry, doubles up as a dispense bar and cold buffet counter in the morning for breakfast, with a chef in attendance, slicing cold cuts, portioning little plates of cheese, carving smoked salmon, etc. into delicious slices of treats right before your eyes.

The recipes crafted have been inspired from the kitchens of local Chennai households, infusing authentic taste into food with focus on home style, comfort dishes.

With the exclusive service, guests are encouraged to interact with butlers or the chefs directly about what they feel like eating, rather than just be given a menu to choose from, The Dining Room is just like home. 

Chef Information

Balaji Natarajan is the Executive Chef at Park Hyatt Chennai. Having graduated from the Bishop Appasamy College of Catering Arts, he kick started his career in Hyderabad. He has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

At the hotel, Chef Balaji oversees the culinary aspects of the hotel’s kitchens. His philosophy on food is clear; he believes food should be made with love. Simplicity has been the key for his success.
