Museums

Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA Denver)

Denver's first and only contemporary art museum. MCA is a non-collecting space that functions like the European model of a kunsthalle, offering rotating avant-garde presentations from local and national artists.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Home of the Gates Planetarium and the IMAX Theater, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is packed with information relating to the world around us. Exhibits range from prehistoric creatures to the lifestyle of North American Indians to space exploration and more.

Buffalo Bill Museum

Explore the life and times of one of the West’s most famous characters. Founded in 1921 by his stepson, this museum pays tribute to William F. Cody, a.k.a. Buffalo Bill. Buffalo Bill was a true cowboy, a showman, a scout for the army, and much more.

Forney Museum of Transportation

A must-see for train buffs and automotive fans! Enjoy over 500 exhibits featuring early-model carriages, automotives, and locomotives, including the Big Boy Engine and the Forney Locomotive 040-T Engine built in 1897.

iFLY Denver

Sample indoor skydiving for the first time with iFLY Denver. Cherry Creek Park

Littleton Historical Museum

Located on 39 acres, the museum consists of two living history farms (one from the 1860s and one from the 1890s), a small lake, a collections center, and a main exhibition and administration building. Often cited as one of the top 10 local history museums in the United States, it is one of only 700 museums to be fully accredited by the American Association of Museums, and one of only 140 members (the only Colorado museum represented) of the Smithsonian Affiliates.

Park Meadows

Park Meadows combines the best of the Colorado outdoors with over 185 of the finest restaurants and retailers. Come and enjoy the largest retail destination in Colorado and relax beside the bubbling mountain stream or get lost in the lush landscaping and soaring timber ceilings that are reminiscent of a Grand Mountain Lodge. Landmark District

Landmark is a popular local neighborhood located near the hotel and accessible via complimentary shuttle. The Landmark District offers a number of local boutiques and restaurants in an outdoor shopping environment.

Cherry Creek Shopping Center

With more than 160 shops, restaurants, and services, Cherry Creek Shopping Center is a popular attraction for all visitors. Stores include Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Macy's, and there is covered and valet parking.

Outlets at Castle Rock

Located in Castle Rock, just 20 minutes south of Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. With more than 100 manufacturer outlets, this large outdoor mall offers some of the biggest designer names, such as Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Eddie Bauer, Sony, and much, much more!

Dining

Shanahan’s

This restaurant is owned by a former Broncos coach and features great steaks and fish dishes. The décor highlights NFL Super Bowl rings and trophies.

YaYa’s

This local favorite serves a variety of dishes inspired by Mediterranean countries. YaYa’s also features more certified sommeliers than any other restaurant in Colorado.

Concerts and Performing Arts

Pepsi Center

The Pepsi Center is only a 12-mile drive from Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. It is home to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoths. The Pepsi Center is also a great venue to catch great concerts.

Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre

The Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre is the premier venue in the Denver metro area to catch the summer concert series. Just a little over three miles from the hotel, a short drive makes it easily accessible.

Denver Coliseum

The Denver Coliseum offers a warm, friendly environment for families to share exciting performances. See the circus, Native American powwows, rodeos, motor shows, concerts, dances, and more. The Coliseum is also home to the National Western Stock Show. Each seat offers an unobstructed view, and is no more than 28 rows from the floor. It is just a short 25-minute drive from the hotel.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater

Approximately a 40-minute drive from the hotel, Red Rocks is a premier concert venue. This naturally created, perfectly acoustical phenomenon is an incredible spot to view a summer concert. Constructed between two 300-foot-tall rocks, this amphitheater provides a beautiful backdrop for concerts ranging from classical to country to hard rock. There are also hiking trails and the Trading Post, both open to the public.

The Wildlife Experience is an interactive and educational museum featuring fine art, natural history, and film. The museum also features creative event spaces set amongst a unique cultural destination.

Comedy Works

This stunning new venue features a state-of-the-art showroom with a world-class lineup of comedians, but there’s more. Dine before the show at Lucy, an upscale restaurant featuring modern cuisine with a Southern twist, or hang at Lila B martini lounge with great happy hour specials and an awesome small-plate menu. Comedy Works is located in the heart of the Landmark District.
