The saying goes, you haven’t experienced Beijing until you’ve dined at Made in China. An award-winning culinary destination for more than a decade that has spawned sister restaurants at Grand Hyatt hotels in other cities, the original Made in China is the place to savor authentically crafted home-style classics from northern China, including the signature Peking duck and Beggar’s chicken. The contemporary tea-house setting with open kitchens and lively communal dining also offers five private rooms for 6 to 16 diners and a dine-in wine cellar. A sophisticated drinks list and creative desserts complement this unforgettable Beijing dining experience.
Made in China, Chinese Restaurant received the MICHELIN Plate in 2021 and 2020 Beijing MICHELIN Guide.

When creating The Balcony, the international interior design firm drew inspiration from the college through out the window built 100 years ago with its distinctive pitched glazed-tile roofs, ornamental ridges, and upturned eaves.
Operating throughout the day, The Balcony is a 214-seater space specializing in premium Italian fare, as well as adding Beijing home-style comfort food in the morning.
For those desiring privacy, one end of the restaurant can be closed off to create a private dining room for up to 16 guests.
The hotel’s much-loved pastry shop has been transformed, reimagined as an elegant purveyor of luxury goods where baked confections and artisanal treats are treated with the reverence.
Conceived by multi-award-winning interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), The new Patisserie showcases a modern Art Deco feel. Aside from its classic pastry items, The new Patisseries offers an array of inspirational gourmet and gifts including Chiffon cakes, The Patisserie’s signature bake. Handmade pralines, chocolate truffles and exquisitely packaged hampers are among the top picks which guests can take away.
