ORTUS Spa at Hyatt Regency Pravets Resort is a peaceful oasis located in the heart of the picturesque luxury resort. Located next to the resort’s full-service Spa Bar, ORTUS Spa features 8 treatment rooms including a Couple Massage Suite and a VIP Spa apartment. As a calming pre and post-treatment interlude, guests may repose and enjoy the panoramic view of the resort’s stunning lake.
Our treatments include an assortment of results-orientated therapies such as facials, body treatments, and massages. Head-to-toe restoration is best experienced through one of the Signature Treatments such as the famous ORTUS Four-Hand massage. The highlight of the spa is a Floating Salt Pool and an elaborate, exclusive Ottoman-style Hammam, having two heated marble beds, where our therapists perform our Signature Turkish Bath Ritual for you, creating the serenity and restoration you need.
Ortus Spa also features an indoor 25-meter swimming pool, maintained at a cooled temperature ideal for swimming.
The Laconium is a great place to start your spa session. The temperature is perfect to activate your blood circulation and to prepare your body for the thermal area. It can be used as a place to regulate the blood pressure between the other thermal sessions. Recommended stay time is 15-20 minutes.
The Relax Zone is a quiet place where guests can find their inner peace and stimulate well-being. It can be used as a place to relax the body between using the other thermal facilities. Regular use helps relieve stress. Recommended stay time is 15-20 minutes.
The Steam Room will soothe your full body and especially your skin. The combination of heat and humidity will relax your stressed muscles. It is important to drink water before and after using the steam room. Depending on your tolerance to heat, we recommend you stay maximum 15 min.
The Herbal Sauna is softly heated. The effect of the dried herbs will soothe your nerves and respiratory tract. It is the perfect place to activate your detox process and start cleansing your body from toxins. Recommended stay time is 10-15 minutes.
The Finnish Sauna is with higher temperature, and it is dry, so make sure you are well hydrated before using it. Sauna is known to reduce blood pressure, activate the immune system and protect you cardiovascular system. Recommended stay time is 10-15 minutes.
The Russian Sauna is our warmest facility. It is recommended to use the cold bucket, ice room, and/or ice fountain after your sweating session in this sauna. It will fasten your metabolism and increase your dopamine levels. Depending on your tolerance to heat, we recommend you stay maximum 15 min.
The Ice Room and the Ice Fountain are ideal to stimulate circulation after using the sauna or steam room. You can take a handful of ice and rub gently over your body to close the pores of your skin and to reduce the temperature of your body. Recommended stay time is 10-15 minutes.
The Salt Steam Room is an alternative solution for your respiratory tract problems, such as asthma, cough, and bronchitis. It is great for reducing the symptoms of pollen allergies and improving mild skin conditions. Recommended stay time is 15-20 minutes.
The Salt Lake/Floatation is a facility that guests can use for an additional payment upon request. Floating in water with high salt concentration reduces blood pressure, lowers the heart rate and at the same time, lowers stress levels. Recommended time to stay is 30 min.
The Hammam produces very humid heat which helps guests to remove toxins and harmful chemicals contained in the organs, blood, and tissues. The scrub performed with a traditional ‘kese’ glove will soothe your skin and surely activate your blood circulation. Recommended stay time is 30-60 minutes.
The Salt Room is the place for your halotherapy. It helps guests who have asthma, sinusitis, and other ailments to breathe easily. Guests would also visit it regularly for the prevention of the mentioned. Recommended stay time is 30-60 minutes.
The Cold Bucket (VIP apartment) will help you cool down your body temperature instantly. It is recommended to be used after a sweating session in one of our high-heat facilities.
The Aqua-Meditation room (VIP apartment) provides a unique experience of deep relaxation by stimulating all senses. It is recommended to be used between the other treatments. The natural sound of waterflow will soothe your mind and spirit immediately. Recommended stay time is 15-30 minutes.
