Splash into our signature water playground complete with 10 pools including a sand beach, 30-foot 3-story high speed waterslide, poolside cabanas, and H2Oasis. If that is not enough, play a game of water volleyball or basketball, or relax in the spacious jetted tub, surrounded by four plunge pools. Other highlights include pools for two, a quiet pool for swimmers and the adult-only pool featuring a cascade waterfall, gently flowing water over a 30-foot wide, three-level fall, as well as the poolside Grotto bar.
Cabanas & Daybeds
Create the perfect poolside day by reserving a Family Pool, or Adult Pool, cabana or daybed. Enjoy your space to spend the day under the sunshine and splashing around. Cabanas, daybeds and premium pool chairs can be reserved through Resort Pass, limited quantities available.
For kids, families and adults, we provide many activities that connect to our destination. Seasonally and during holidays, activities such as s’mores around the campfire, Native American beadwork display, mixology classes, and guacamole-making are just some of the programs hosted by the resort. Poolside programming often includes face painting, sand castle building, water balloon toss and more.
Friday Afternoons at Hyatt
Join us every Friday in Fountain Court for Experiential Offering’s “Arizona Birds of Prey Take Flight.” From 4:00 to 5:00 p,m., Liberty Wildlife’s education team presents its rescued winged warriors. Pictures and selfies with each are welcome and encouraged! At 5:00 p.m., Native American dancers then take you on a cultural journey to the First Nations of Arizona and North America through music and dance—even more opportunities to experience and document the unique culture of Arizona. Rock Climbing Wall, Putting Green & Fun Zone
Take your adventures to new heights! Our 28-foot climbing wall is the perfect complement to the many hotel activities available for the entire family to enjoy. The rock wall is open 10:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 4:00pm. You can choose from two different climbing options: $7 for two consecutive climbs or $15 for unlimited climbing throughout the day. Come play a game of giant Jenga®, giant Chess, giant Connect Four®, practice your putting skills in our backyard, or grab a club and balls and head to our putting green! Tennis with Seth Korey Tennis Academy
Whether you’re new to the game or play on a regular basis, players of all skill levels will enjoy the tennis facilities at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale. Hot Air Balloon Rides
Take your sightseeing adventures to new heights – literally. Get a birds-eye-view of the Sonoran Desert in an extraordinary way. Listen to the whoosh of propane as the balloon goes higher. Float above the spectacular landscape. See if you can spot wildlife from high above.
Desert 4x4 / Hummer Tours
Explore the Sonoran Desert in a 4x4, cruising along dirt roads, spotting birds, cacti, and other wildlife along the way. Enjoy the ride to the desert, approximately 40 minutes away, and listen as your guide explains the history and geology of the area. Tours last four hours each, and are available seven days a week. Guests will be picked up at the resort. Wear comfortable clothing, a hat, and closed toed shoes. Car seats are required for infants and toddlers.

This 40 year old tradition, opens its doors to the public and shows off the works of the Southwest’s outstanding artists. Every Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm, ArtWalks are free and located along Main Street from Scottsdale Rd. west to Goldwater Blvd. and on Marshall Way north of Indian School Rd. to Fifth Ave.

Sedona has beckoned artists and naturalists for centuries. Its picturesque beauty and imposing red rocks make for wonderful photo opportunities and outdoor activities. Journey up a mesa to catch a glimpse of an ancient Native American Ruins. Select a painting from one of the town’s numerous art galleries. Feel the power of a red rock vortex. Break out of your routine and try rattlesnake or prickly pear cactus fries at a local restaurant. Hop in a pink jeep and hang on as your guide points out historical and environmental landmarks. There’s a reason why more than five million people sojourn to the Grand Canyon each year. The ever-changing colors, vastness and flora and fauna are awe-inspiring. Comprised of the South and North Rims and the Inner Canyon, tourists will leave with this wondrous feat of nature indelibly printed in their memories. Tour the canyon on a sure-footed mule. White water raft the turbulent waters of the Colorado River rapids. Hike the Bright Angel Trail. Linger over brunch at El Tovar, boasting spectacular views.
Experience the site which launched the movement to promote the creation of alternative urban landscapes sustainably integrated with the natural world. The tour includes pioneering architect Paolo Soleri's design studio, residential structures, the bronze foundry and ceramics apses, all hand-made with the iconic silt-cast concrete method. Today, the site is home to Cosanti Originals, where the world-renowned bronze and ceramic wind bells are made of Soleri's design. Tours are available Monday – Friday 10:00am & 11:15am, Saturday – Sunday 11:30am & 1:00pm. Tours are approximately 60 minutes. Tour prices are donation based.
Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West
At Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West (SMoW), we bring authentic stories to life through Western and Native American art, artifacts and living cultures. Guests see the West from a whole new perspective at our Smithsonian Affiliate destination. Located in the heart of Old Town, SMoW takes about 1 to 2 hours to tour. We feature permanent and rotating exhibitions. You’ll experience iconic Western art, pristine Navajo chiefs’ blankets; a collection of 1,400 examples of Old West cowboy gear; a tribute to the Hopi People with pottery spanning six centuries; and lots of fun social media-worthy photo opportunities, like our Western Spirit Trail 3D illusion mural that literally places you in the Old West.
