A daily resort fee of 16% of the room rate plus 8% WA state tax (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide the following services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

Bicycles

Bicycles, e-bikes and scooters are prohibited at The Lodge at Suncadia, The Inn at Suncadia and Trailhead Condos. They are not allowed in public spaces, guest rooms, hallways, elevators, patios, balconies or stairs.

Check-in & Checkout—Lodge, Inn Trailhead Condos, Homes

Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m. During high-occupancy periods (i.e., summer and winter seasons), early check-ins and late checkouts are not available. Guests may access resort amenities starting at 4 p.m. the day of check-in and until 4 p.m. the day of checkout. A late departure fee may be assessed for departures after this time.

Children

Suncadia is a family-friendly resort in the state of Washington resort. Children under 17 stay free in the same room with a parent or adult. Please click here to learn about the many activities available for families and kids.

Deposits/Cancellations

Lodge, Inn & Condos

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least seven (7) days prior to arrival, or the full value of the reservation is charged. The full value equals the entire guest room reservation amount (including resort fee). Once you are within seven days of arrival, the reservation becomes nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Vacation Home Rentals

Deposit Fee: The deposit for Vacation Home rental is taken at the time of booking and is 50% of the full value of the reservation.

Cancellation Policy: The remaining balance of the reservation is charged 30 days prior to arrival. Once you are within 30 days of arrival, the reservation becomes nonrefundable and nontransferable. 

Weather Cancellation Policy

Refunds are not issued for weather unless Snoqualmie Pass is closed eastbound for at least a three-hour period on the day of arrival. Please be prepared for winter driving conditions (having chains available is recommended) as early as October and as late as April.

Drones

The unauthorized use of drones is prohibited throughout Suncadia Resort, including golf courses, neighborhoods, conservancy space, parks, paths, trails and Resort and Associations property grounds. Drones will only be allowed for community-related projects, and written permission must be obtained from the Community Associations. Third-party marketing and personal filming will not be allowed. Please email CommunityAssociations@Suncadia.com for more information.

Extra Person Fee

Listed room rates for this Washington state mountain resort are per room, for up to two adults and two children (17 and under) using existing bedding. Additional adults are subject to a $25 extra person fee.

Lodge guests have access to the Lodge Pool. Guests who book direct with Suncadia in the Lodge, Inn, Homes and Condos have access to the Swim & Fitness Center.

*At Suncadia Resort, we use Opportunistic Wireless Encryption for our public wireless network. Even though it appears like an “open” network, it provides similar encryption to secured networks by performing an unauthenticated Diffie-Hellman at association time. We want our guests to have a wireless experience that is easy to connect to and still secure.

Housekeeping Services

Accommodations are cleaned on departure. Daily housekeeping service and mid-stay service is available, based on request, for The Lodge and The Inn. Housekeeping services such as linen and towel replacement, trash pickup and amenity replenishments are also available on request.

Off-Road Vehicle & ATV Use Restrictions

ATV and ORV use has been banned within Suncadia and Tumble Creek. This includes vehicles with an on-road tag. Use of a vehicle in the resort will result in a $500 fine. Any use of motorized vehicles off road may also result in arrest with criminal and civil charges. For the revised policy please click here.

Play Yards

Each room in The Lodge comes with a play yard. Other accommodations may not have play yards within the rooms; these may be available on first-come, first-served basis. Many vacation homes include play yards.

Pet Policy

Suncadia is a pet-friendly hotel in Washington state offering a memorable stay experience not just for pet owners but for their pets as well. The resort offers an expansive trail system, which is ideal for on-leash pets. There’s also an off-leash dog park and an ideal pet welcome amenity (includes trail map, dog treats and doggie bags). The pet amenity is available for all registered pets (dogs only.) Pets are allowed only in accommodations designated as “pet friendly.” A $75 per day pet fee, per pet, is required. The guest is responsible for any damage caused by the pet. A maximum of two pets are allowed. Pets may not be left unattended in or on the property. The guest will observe applicable leash laws for their pet—pets must be leashed at all times. A pet fee is automatically added to all online reservations for “pet-friendly” homes and condos. Guests bringing pets into non-pet-friendly accommodations will be asked to remove the pet and will be subject to a violation fee.

Suncadia requires all guests bringing pets to follow our Pet Policy guidelines so that all guests enjoy their time at the resort:

• Pets (dogs) should be under their owner’s care at all times.
• Additional fees and/or deposit is required depending on accommodation type.
• Usage of pet rooms is very limited and based upon availability, not all room types offered are pet friendly.
• To guarantee availability, notification of your pet’s arrival MUST be made at time of booking.

Wildlife Protection

To ensure the safety of our guests and the surrounding wildlife, please adhere to the following guidelines: 

• Do not allow dogs to menace, chase or interact with wildlife. Violators will be reported to the Department of Fish and Wildlife, which may fine the dog owner $500 or more. 
• Please be extra cautious during the spring and early summer when there are fawns, bear cubs or other wildlife young. 
• Dogs are not to be walked on elk trails or within the woods. Only trails that are marked as walking trails may be used.

Dawson Dog Park

Please enjoy the Dog Park with your pet but remember: Although dogs may be off-leash in the Dog Park, they must be under verbal control of dog owner or caretaker at all times.

Smoking Policy

In accordance with Washington state law, this resort is a nonsmoking resort. Smoking within any accommodations is prohibited. There is a $250 fee for individuals who violate this policy. Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of entrances to any public buildings and within any private homes or rental units at Suncadia Resort.

Taxes & Fees

Rooms are subject to 8.1% sales tax, 2% occupancy tax and the resort fee per night.

Vacation Rentals Rules & Regulations

Suncadia’s luxury vacation rentals are independently owned properties, and Suncadia manages the rental of each of these units. Suncadia Resort is located within a residential community. Guests are required to acknowledge and comply with the community rules and regulations, including quiet hours, parking policies, prohibited burning of open fires or charcoal and more. All renters must adhere to the Vacation Rental Rules and Regulations prior to their stay within the unit.
