Resort Fees

A daily resort fee of $50 plus tax (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide the following services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

Room Deposit Guarantee Policy

A deposit in the amount of the first night’s room rate and tax is required at booking and will be charged to the provided credit card. The cardholder must present the credit card used to book the reservation and valid photo identification when checking in. If the credit card used to book the reservation is not present, the deposit will be refunded and another payment method must be provided.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellations are available for refundable rates if completed at least 72 hours before the check-in date. Cancellations made after this period will incur a penalty of the first night’s room rate plus tax.

General Policies

• Check-in time: 4 p.m.
• Checkout time: 11 a.m.
• Minimum check-in age: 21 years, with government-issued photo identification required
• Credit card policy: credit card required at check-in for incidental charges

Parking Policy

• We offer complimentary valet and self-parking.
• Limited oversize parking is available with advance request and may require additional permits and/or parking fees.
• Rio Hotel and Casino assumes no liability for fire, theft, vandalism, flood or any other damage to your vehicle. We are not bailees and bear no responsibility for the loss of or damage to any articles left inside your vehicle. You acknowledge that you remain in possession and control of all items left in your vehicle.
• By using our parking facilities and services, you acknowledge the inherent known and unknown risks that may result in physical injury, emotional injury, death or damage to yourself, your property or to third parties and their property. Rio Hotel and Casino disclaims any responsibility for damage or injury arising out of or related to your use of our parking facilities and services, including issues related to faulty brakes or mechanical problems.
• All claims must be presented before your vehicle exits the property.

Incidentals

A major credit card is required upon check-in and will be authorized for an incidental deposit of up to $100 per day, with a maximum of $500 based on room type. Resort fees, taxes and in-room incidentals will be charged against this deposit. Any remaining unused funds may be unavailable for 5–30 business days, based on guest’s financial institution and location.

Privacy Policy

By booking, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled according to the Rio Privacy Policy and the Hyatt Privacy Policy.

Extra Room Amenity Charges

• Additional fees may apply per person, per night for the third and fourth adults, age 17 or older, in the same room.
• A rollaway bed is available for $30 per night, subject to availability.
• A crib is available at no charge, subject to availability.
• Not all rooms can accommodate rollaway beds or cribs. Please contact the hotel for more information.

Transient Lodging Tax

Tax rates are subject to change and will be charged at the rate in effect at the time of stay.

Health and Safety Policies

Rio Hotel and Casino Las Vegas is committed to providing a safe environment, following public health and facility expert guidelines.

• Non-smoking policy: Fines of $500 will be issued for smoking in Rio Hotel rooms and other non-smoking locations.
• Marijuana policy: Smoking marijuana in public areas or on property, including guest rooms, is unlawful and prohibited, and may incur state fines.
• Scooters / public utility vehicles policy: Recreational use is not allowed. Non-recreational use requires a special permit from the hotel manager. Hotel is not responsible for third-party motorized scooter rentals.
• Electronics policy: For the safety of our guests and team members, small kitchen appliances such as hot plates, grills, coffee makers and microwaves are not permitted due to the risk of fire.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 21 or older with photo identification to check in. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Food & Beverage Credits

Valid food and beverage offers and credits are non-transferable, have no cash value and cannot be applied towards room rates, taxes, gratuities, resort fees or gaming purchases. They must be used during the same stay.

Complimentary Rooms

The no-show fee for confirmed complimentary room reservations is $50 plus tax.

Special Requests

All special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Guest Behavior Standards

Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas reserves the right to remove any guest and/or take any action permitted by law for violations of this policy. Inappropriate and disrespectful behavior is prohibited, and includes but is not limited to:

• Unruly or violent behavior
• Derogatory or offensive language
• Inappropriate attire
• Weapons
• Theft or property misuse
• Cannabis or illegal drug use

Pet Policy

Rio Hotel & Casino is pet friendly. Dogs that weigh 50 lbs or less are allowed, up to 2 dogs maximum.

Rio’s Pet Fee is $150 per night per dog.

A registration form is required at time of check in.
