Beautiful location with a cozy fall place to stay. Right next to the beautiful smugglers notch drive. Wished we would have stayed longer. Rooms were clean, quiet, and comfy.
The lodge was very beautiful and the staff was excellent. We enjoyed the spa and went on short hike guided by hotel staff that was excellent!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled that you found our staff helpful and were able to enjoy the Spa and hiking during our fall season.
We stayed at the Lodge of Spruce Peak for our wedding and it was a perfect experience! They helped bring all of our many bags to the suite, upgraded our suite so our dog could stay with us (he was in the wedding!) and even brought him a dog bed, dog bowl, and treats. They also brought us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. All of our guests thought it was the most magical place as well!

Wonderful natural setting with good view of fall foliage, excellent service, comfortable rooms and decent restaurants. Only a 5 min drive to smuggler’s notch, a top foliage viewing area.

It's wonderful to hear you were able to explore Smugglers' Notch and take in some of Vermont's best foliage during your stay. We hope to welcome you back to Spruce Peak for another mountain getaway soon! 🍁
It’s sitting in a nice location, but you need a car to go practically anywhere, which you need to go through valet parking. We paid resort fee, but still need pay extra for most everything, like sauna, yoga class, etc.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed our location, but we understand your frustration regarding parking and amenity fees. While some experiences are included with the resort fee, certain services like specialty fitness classes and spa amenities carry an additional charge. We appreciate your comments and will share them with our team as we continue looking for ways to create a better overall guest experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.
We went in the fall. The hotel itself is very nice. The pools are heated, there's, outdoor spas/hot tub. The fires are pretty and fun to hang out at, though they're gas and the heat goes straight up. Room was nice. Generally no issues at all. Most of the village area around the hotel was closed for the season, but there's plenty to do in the nearby areas.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, from the heated pools and hot tubs to the outdoor fire pits and comfortable accommodations. Fall is a beautiful time to visit, though some village businesses do take a seasonal pause before winter. We're happy to hear you found plenty to explore in the surrounding area and hope to welcome you back for another visit soon.
Location is excellent. Hotel very clean and well appointed. Suite was spacious. Staff very attentive to needs in a very timely manner, even on busy days. Restaurants were just ok. Food was ok. Service was very slow. Bar service at Tispy Trout was excellent À la carte breakfast was also very good Buffet wasn’t worth the money and was not fresh.

We're also glad the à la carte breakfast was a highlight. We appreciate your honest comments about the restaurant experience and breakfast buffet, and we'll share them with our culinary team as we continue working to improve both freshness and service speed. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
Extremely Overpriced hotel with a very rude and uncooperative front desk staff. The AC wasn't working the first night and we complained to the front desk. They said the engineering staff would check it out and let us know. They said they checked it but the next 2 days also the AC didn't work and we had to end up keeping the door open the whole night for some air. We requested that the body lotion bottle was empty on the first day of our stay and they never refilled or replaced it. It is not what you expect from a World of Hyatt hotel kind of property.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the unresolved air conditioning issue, the missed amenity request, and the service experience you described. This is not the level of care we strive to provide, and we understand the disappointment this caused. We've shared your comments with our leadership team for review and appreciate you taking the time to let us know where we fell short.
The Lodge at Spruce Peak is absolutely gorgeous! The location is awesome and the views are breathtaking. Our room was meticulous and comfortable. The only downside would be the breakfast options. Alpine Hill restaurant for breakfast was subpar for the resort. Overall, the food needs to be upgraded. Also, free coffee is from 6:30-8:30am and the hours should be extended. The valet is worth every penny too. I highly recommend this resort!
