The Capitol Square Light Rail stop is just a one-minute walk from Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney, located on Hay Street in front of the historic Capitol Theatre. It connects you easily to Central Station, Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney, The Star, and Chinatown, with trams running frequently along the L1 Dulwich Hill Line. From the stop, simply walk along Hay Street and turn right onto Parker Street — the hotel is located at 13 Parker Street, just moments from Darling Square and Chinatown. It is a quick and convenient way to get around the city. | The Chinatown Light Rail stop is located on George Street near Hay Street, right at the entrance to Sydney’s lively Chinatown precinct. Capitol Square Light Rail

Gadigal Station is Sydney’s newest metro stop and just a short walk from Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney. Located beneath Pitt Street near Belmore Park, it offers fast, frequent service on the Metro City & Southwest line, connecting you to Barangaroo, North Sydney, Chatswood, and beyond in minutes. From the station, it is an easy stroll through Haymarket — simply head down Hay Street and turn right onto Parker Street to reach the hotel at 13 Parker Street. The metro is a sleek, efficient way to move through the city with ease.

Sydney Airport (SYD)

After landing, follow signs to the Airport Train Station, labelled either Domestic Airport Station or International Airport Station, and take the T8 Airport Line towards Central Station. Trains run frequently and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Central Station, you can either take the L1 Dulwich Hill Light Rail from Central to Capitol Square, which is just one stop, or walk. To walk, exit the station via Pitt Street or Eddy Avenue, head towards Haymarket, turn left onto Hay Street passing Paddy’s Market, then turn right onto Parker Street where you will find Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney (13 Parker Street).

Train from Sydney Airport to Central Station

If you prefer the door to door experience of a rideshare or taxi, exit your dedicated terminal and follow the signs labelled “Taxi Rank” or “RideShare Pickup Zone”. There will be dedicated assistants at each station to help guide you through the rideshare process. If travelling via Taxi, simply provide the address “13 Parker Street Haymarket” to your driver. If travelling via Uber, enter “13 Parker Street Haymarket” into your Uber app and you will be assigned a numbered code that you will provide to your assigned driver. (Journey Approx 25 minutes)

Central Railway Station

From Central Station, head towards the Pitt Street Exit via Grand Concourse 
and take 250m or 4 minute stroll to Caption By Hyatt Central Sydney at 13 
Parker Street Haymarket. You can also board the L1 towards Dulwich Hill 
lightrail at the Central Station lightrail stop from Grand Concourse, and travel 1 
stop to Capitol Square. From here, walk approx 40m down towards Parker 
Street, turn right and you will be greeted at the doors of Caption By Hyatt.

Railway

The newly developed Sydney Metro offers a high-speed, fully accessible link, connecting Sydney’s CBD with key inner and outer suburbs. With a frequency of four minutes during peak periods, the Metro can connect you to major stops like Central station, Martin Place, or Barangaroo, which will provide further connections to the lightrail that would lead you to Caption by Hyatt.

To make your way to Caption by Hyatt via the Lightrail, Capitol Square is the closest stop if you are travelling along the L1 but you may also get off at the Chinatown stop for a slightly longer walk, if you are taking the L2 or L3 line.
