4 of us (across two rooms) had a great stay over Thanksgiving as tourists. Great location, given proximity to many subway lines, and the hotel was great! Friendly and helpful staff, we were impressed!

I travel to NYC for business on a regular basis and have chosen Guild Hall for my stay. I had stayed previously at nearby competitor and was unhappy with their services. The rooms at Guild Hall are much larger than nearby Hotels. The location is convenient to the Seaport on the east side as well as a short walk to Fulton Center which has pretty much every NYC subway lines. The rooms are always clean and quiet.

Lovely quiet boutique hotel. Wonderful attached restaurant. Helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful rooms. I’ve never slept so well in New York City! Most of my trips I’ve stayed around midtown, but Gild Hall will be my go to from now on.

Great place to stay if you're in Manhattan's Financial District or in Manhattan in general. The Gild Hall is a very cozy property with excellent staff and location. The Felice restaurant just off the lobby is a stylish establishment with inviting leather and wooden interiors, serving Tuscan cuisine and an extensive selection of wines from Italy.

Great hotel with exceptional staff in an ideal location for a holiday trip with easy access to transport links and located close to some major tourist attractions. Good restaurants close by along with cafes and shops.

Wonderful Hotel in the calm area of south Manhattan. The staff were great and helpful, the atmosphere was over expected and perfect breakfast. Nice rooms, fresh feeling and very comfortable beds. Overall just great!

Gild Hall Thompson Hyatt was an excellent hotel stay. Currently a solid 4-star soon to be 5. I stayed two nights for Halloween weekend 2023. Our room, the main cocktail room and restaurant are all very romantic. Great for a couples getaway! Black, brown and red leathers, gold trim, low warm lighting. Depending on the time of year, if you are staying close to a Holiday, prices can be high (around $450/night total) - However, in Jan., Feb., some rooms drop a couple hundred a night. The reputation and overall quality can be worth the extra couple hundred compared to nearby hotels... Really, the only downside is that you are looking at close to $500/night... but again this can be avoided depending on when you visit and/or savings. Final point is that this Financial District location, known as, "FiDi" is much better than staying in/near Times Square. Times Square area is just overcrowded with sketchy people and a lot of noise. The financial district is more sophisticated and "cozy" for lack of better term. You will find outside noise is quieter at night in FiDi than Times Square.

The hotel is in a great location and everyone was friendly. I had a room right across from the elevators and it was very quiet. The front desk offered me a glass of Prosecco at check-in and was very responsive with any questions I had.

Went the Gild Hall location as part of a wedding party. The staff at the front desk were professional and helpful. I would be looking to stay at this location in the future.Thank you to Ron at the front desk for your welcomes to our family

The hotel was clean and room was cleaned on daily bases. The staff was responsive and very friendly. The food was delicious and they have great menu. The internet is 20mbs but could be better. Easy check in and out. They have a luggage locker room for early check in or late check out.
