Swap screens for fireside s’mores and Californian flora at yet-to-open Under Canvas Yosemite, a tented stay on the doorstep of the storied national park. On-Site Restaurant
At the Hotel

Our Favourite Rooms
Sleeping under the stars takes on new meaning in the Stargazer tent, where your plush bed is canopied by a sky-window (though admiring the night sky can be done from every tent’s terrace). If you’re a bigger clan of family or friends, sprawl out in a Suite tent, before cozying up to regale each other with adventurous antics from your day.
Packing Tips
Make the most of screen-free time and bring a journal, novel or pack of cards for evening entertainment.
Also
There’s no WiFi here, and you won’t find any TVs around, meaning evenings tend to be filled with stargazing and fireside music and s’mores.
Children
Little Smiths are very welcome. The Suite tent is ideal for bigger clans. Family-friendly activities include stargazing, fireside s’mores, games and crafts.

Worth Getting Out of Bed For
Your worn-in walking boots will further up their mileage at Under Canvas Yosemite – the camp’s privileged position is a 15-minute drive from the famed national park’s west entrance, Big Oak Flat Information Station, where the park's buses ferry you to and from. Yosemite National Park is renowned for its sky-tickling giant sequoia groves, otherworldly waterfalls, granite cliffs and glaciers. Guest experience coordinators are on-hand to help you book local excursions, such as rock climbing, fly fishing, guided hikes and driving tours, and post-activity relief, in the form of cooling plunges and muscle-loosening laps, can be found at nature-swathed Rainbow Pool. Back at camp, yoga classes, live music, fireside s’mores and stargazing are backdropped by the serene Sierra Nevada setting.
