At the Hotel

Walking trails, yoga deck with Vuori mats and blocks to borrow, nightly campfires with s’mores, refillable aluminum water bottles, water refill stations, free hot drinks, guest experience coordinators and a small boutique. In tents: power outlets, evaporative cooling fan, wood-burning stoves, lanterns, coffee- and tea-making kit, hairdryer, bathrobes and Aesop bath products.

Our Favourite Rooms

There’s no short straw here – every Suite tent has a private deck, a king-size bed and a cozy living space with a wood-burning stove and handcrafted West Elm furnishings.

Poolside

There are three outdoor dipping pools, each set to a different temperature, so you can start the day with a refreshing cold plunge and soothe post-hike muscles with a hot soak.

Spa

There’s no spa, but the free wellness programming is designed to help you tune into the tranquility of the desert landscape. Sessions include yoga classes, sound bath meditations and plant medicine walks.

Packing Tips

Despite the desert setting, don't overlook bringing your swimwear, for hitting the plunge pool post-hike.

Also

There’s no WiFi except in the lobby building, and you won’t find any TVs around, meaning evenings tend to be filled with stargazing, fireside music and s’mores.

Дети

Welcome; there’s no kids’ club or babysitting, but Suite tents can accommodate up to four, and family-friendly activities are included with your stay at ULUM Moab.

Hotel Restaurant

The resort’s restaurant spins classic Southwestern flavors into elevated modern dishes, with a focus on sustainably sourced produce. Favorites include sage-rubbed bison steak, smoky juniper trout, and pimento and white bean ragout. The dining room has glass walls, so you won’t miss out on the scenery wherever you sit, but dining outside on the patio is always an option. Several nights a week, alfresco dinners are set to live acoustic sets from local musicians and, as with all camping trips worth their salt, every evening winds up with s’mores around the fire pit.

ULUM Moab also has a café, so you’re all set for specialty coffee, matcha, fresh juices and smoothies. This is where you can buy grab ’n’ go bites to take on the trail, too.

Hotel Bar

The restaurant serves a selection of wines, local beers and craft cocktails infused with local botanicals like sage, juniper and prickly pear.

Last Orders

Breakfast runs from 7am to 11am, and dinner from 5pm to 10pm. The café is open from 7am until noon.

Room Service

The resort has a strict no food in tents policy.

Planes

It’s a 45-minute drive from Canyonlands Field Airport, and two hours from Grand Junction Regional Airport. The nearest international hubs are Salt Lake City, around four hours away, and Denver, around six hours away.

Automobiles

ULUM's adventure concierge can arrange driving tours through the nearby national parks, but you’ll want your own wheels for exploring solo. There’s private parking at the resort, including an electric-vehicle charging station. Please note, you’ll need to buy a $30 pass in advance to enter Canyonlands or Arches National Parks by car.

Worth Getting Out of Bed For

Right in the midst of Utah’s breathtaking canyon country, you won’t be short of daredevil activities. Ease yourself in with the three-minute walk to Looking Glass Arch – then dive in the deep end by climbing and rappelling off it. ULUM Moab’s adventure concierge can arrange all kinds of guided experiences in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, too. Sit back and enjoy the scenery on a driving tour, or get your adrenalin pumping with an expert-led canyoneering excursion, where you’ll hike, boulder and rappel through the ancient desert landscapes. Other pulse-raising options include rock climbing on sandstone formations. And water babies can try kayaking, paddleboarding and whitewater rafting on the Colorado River.
